I spent 6 days at the hotel and the rooms are nice with the same size, nice and working lift but the only clause is the television channels that is only restricted to french speaking channels which it ought not to be because of travelers from other countries and continents.

This hotel needs a refurbishment. Now. Outside area with the swimming pool is nice but anything else is tired and long past due.

The stay was fine. But I doubt I would return which is because of the very loud music the hotel itself plays in de garden near the swimming pool. When you stay to rest and sleep after a hard days work, you need to wait until after 10PM to have peace in your room. You even hear the music through your tv sound. There are many rooms on the pool side of the hotel. I presume the rooms on the other side will be better. But its a proper hotel unworthy to have this loud music. Its a shame people will look for another hotel because of this, since otherwise this hotel has all the right facilities.

I had to return back India for a medical emergency. So that to do a early checkout on 6the February instead of 8th February. I requested them to return the payment for 2 days. But the hotel staff didn't accept it. Booking.com was accepting and was ready to change the booking date. Also I had scheduled my airport drop at 13:45 and I was present at the hotel at 13.47. But the vehicle didn't wait for 2 mins even. Person at the reception said we cannot do anything and book a cab. I want my 2 days room rent returned and also the taxi fair for hotel to Airport

I have been to this property since a year and always have been disappointed, Food - including breakfast/ lunch / dinner all menus are same 365 days without much vegetarian option. People : staff is good but they don't think over and above the process. Clean & hygiene: not at all good . Amenities : below average ( in room and around property ) even few available but not of use . Price : too much upscale with the price and facility . Shuttle : deliberately kept the time where main flights arrive and depart so that no more people need to transport . Payment gateway : always has a issue with making payments at property . Infrastructure : property is too old and including lift all things are in bad shape .

Not Far from the Airport and Good Breakfast!

This was a really good stay for my one night layover in Abidjan. There was a welcoming lady at the airport holding the hotel's sign as I exited bag claim/immigration to direct me to the shuttle service, but I had just missed it so I had to wait an hour. No big deal since I'm not in a rush. The shuttle came, took I alone to the Ibis Marcory and check in was a breeze. The front desk provided me an excellent dinner recommendation to Chez Ambroise, helped me find a taxi to get there, and I was on my way. I was given a room that overlooked the pool so as to avoid the street noise, which was an excellent recommendation. The next morning, the breakfast was way better than any complimentary hotel breakfast I've ever gotten in the US. Delicious cooked foods, fresh juices and various breads/cereals rounded out the selection. I chose to dine outside in the gorgeous Abidjan sunshine, and being a Saturday morning, there was a lively exercise class underway with a DJ next to the pool. How cool! I would've loved to join but I was stuffed from the delicious breakfast. I deliberately missed the free shuttle to the airport to give myself some time to lounge around the hotel, but no worry since the taxi to the airport was about 10.000 CFA if I remember correctly. Other than a lack of truly "hot" water, which may just be an African thing in general, this was a great stay.

Doesnt accept US credit card

Good. But we found out too late that the hotel doesn't accept US credit cards, only debit cards and our debit/ATM card was not working. We were forced to exchange at the hotel's terrible rate of 500 rather than airport rate of 580 FCFA per USD. Also we noticed that they put someone else's breakfast on our room... Maybe a simple mistake.

The welcome from staff was warm and friendly. The Xmas eve menu was interesting and the decorations, music ambiance in the garden by the pool excellent. The room was comfortable and I appreciate the new larger TV screens. The reason my score is lower than 10 is because of the meal service. On 24 at lunchtime the fish was only partly cooked. For the Xmas Eve dinner my main course was served cold and another guest was served cold and without any sauce. On Xmas day, the so-called marinated chicken was dry and returned. Clearly improvements are required. Also, despite the helpfulness of staff my Club Accor points were only credited over one week late despite several calls from me and because it was done manually I only received a maximum of 500 euros. and lost my platinum status by only a few hundred points. I have called Paris who were very sympathetic and have promised to look into the matter. Once again, this was not satisfactory! Kind regards David S.

I FOUND WEIRD THAT THE GATE OF THE HOTEL WAS CLOSE ALL THE TIME AND ONCE YOU REACH THE DOOR THRESHOLD A SECURITY AGENT COMES TO OPEN THE DOOR BECAUSE IN MY EXPERIENCE OF TRAVEL I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCE SUCH TIGHT SECURITY THOUGH IVORY COAST IS PEACE COUNTRY.
