Top notch features, very good and attentive waitress staff (Jose, Anna and Claudia). Only complaint is initial explanation of features in the room, probably translation issues, but overall nice stay and really good location. Located in the theater district and walked (@ 15-20 minutes) to the Louvre.

patriciaDubai Couples - TripAdvisor review

This is our 2nd time in Sofitel Le Scribe and we were back after 2 years, this time only my husband and I. We spent 5 nights, then went to London and then back for 8 more nights. The hotel really needs a refresh, the carpets in the bedrooms and hallways are not nice and old, the bed is comfortable but very soft and you can feel a “hole” in the side of the bed (because of the weight of so many people sleeping), maybe rotate the mattress after each guest ? The towels are not fluffy, pillows very soft (we asked for new ones but no difference), very bad lighting in the room, they left flowers that after so many days housekeeping never renew or replaced them and they smelled…dirty glasses and cups were not changed daily, you had to call for a special guy to come and change them…many details like that. We booked a Premium Jr Suite for the 1st 5 nights and then a Jr Suite for the other 8 nights. To be honest we didnt realize we booked a different category and during check in they told us we were upgraded to a better room. That was not true because the room we were given was in fact the one we booked, we were never upgraded as they said. We never how different a Jr Suite and a Premium Jr Suite were until we arrived the 2nd time. In the Jr Suite there was such a tiny closet that we complaint and room was a bit crowded with an inside view, we needed more space for 8 nights. We requested a change and were told they were full booked so we called our travel agent, she called somebody and a very nice Mr Bilal appeared with a lot of disposition to help us. After a while he told us he could offer a suite (paying a % of the difference) and took us too show us the room. It was a Prestige Suite, we had now a very large walking closet and a good size room and living room so we agreed to the change. When we visited the suite before moving we saw the sofa bed in the living room opened as expecting a child so we told them no child or extra person was coming and they told us they would close it and rearrange the furniture. In the night, when we came back, nothing had happened so we closed the sofa bed and rearranged the furniture (it was never moved again to whatever position the furniture has usually without a sofa bed). It is a detail but many details like this is what made us not be satisfied. Housekeeping was not efficient really, I stayed resting a couple of times while they were cleaning and I was amazed at how little they “clean”. Barely changed the bed sheets and towels. Didnt see how they did the bathroom but I was really amazed that our room, after 8 nights, was never hoovered….you could see the room was not in pristine condition and that annoyed me because that is the least to expect in a hotel. Breakfast is in the basement, very nice people but not the best buffet, for example limited ammount of cheese, fruit, not the best croissants, etc. Coffee was not good but the service was very efficient and smiling all the time. I would put the brakfast room somewhere with natural light that is more appealing. The concierge ladies are very unwelcoming and not very willing to help. I remember we had the same issue 2 years ago. They are all the time busy in the telephone and in their computers so if you went to ask for something you feel you are interrupting and never a smile. Wrong recommendations…a disaster. They should be changed or be given some kind of classes about charm and how to treat clients. The rest of the people were always smiling and willing to do the best…that is really the best of this hotel. The people who work there (except for the concierge ladies). To make the story short, good location, tired and busy hotel, very nice service (except concierge), average breakfast, beds should be renewd as well as the towels. This is a 4 star hotel, not a 5 star. We came from staying in The Cadogan in London for 10 days and that is a real 5 star hotel. We wont be returning them as there are so many options in Paris

Well located great service and nice rooms!

From the moment we booked our stay in Sofitel Le Scribe in Paris, everything about this hotel experience exceeded expectations. The check-in process was late and there was a bit of wait however with the staff greeting us warmly and professionally it was fine and had a complementary drinks while we wait. Throughout our stay, the service was impeccable—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any request. The room itself was a perfect blend of comfort and cleanliness and of course luxury, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. We appreciated the attention to detail, from the cozy bedding to the spotless bathroom. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location of the hotel is another major highlight. Situated in a prime area, we found it easy to explore nearby attractions, with excellent transport links just a short walk away. Whether it was strolling to the Eiffel Tower or enjoying local cafes, the location was ideal. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.
