Check in was a little abrupt. Bathroom was tired and stained. Airconditioning not very functional

I stayed here for 10 days in early June of 2024. The location is central to the historic neighborhood of Grenoble, making getting anywhere on foot less than a 10-15 minute walk. There’s a tram station half a block over, about a minute walk from the entrance. Locationwise, it’s ideal to get to know the city and pop in and out of throughout the day. The room itself was comfortable. It was small but it did the job. The bed was comfortable. It had a window that opened up to the terrace/green-roof. The window had a blackout curtain that was nice on the days I wanted to sleep in. My one concern was the shower, which felt small and it was easy to get the entire bathroom wet if one was not careful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, making communications easy even with my limited French.

I was in the 2nd Floor with construction work in progress. Also the smelling was bad in the hotel that I considered related to the old carpets on the floor.
