No minibar and no safe in the first family room we were assigned. Then we were moved to another room, where we had to ask for additional towels, soap and toilet paper. Furthermore the aircon did not work and we were several times promised a fan, but nothing happened.

UGLY The Novotel Grenoble Centre is not in in a beautiful location (rather ugly old modern buildings and empty square). GREAT LOCATION Yet its location is extremely practical next to the station. GREAT PEOPLE More importantly, the personnel was very nice. This included the teams at the checking desk (an Italian lady), the gentleman handling the IT (a French man) as well as the cleaners. This clearly added and improved the experience. ADD A TERRACE EXPERIENCE A note of potential improvement would be the breakfast area: given the beautiful days and heat in the afternoon, it would’ve been great to have the ability to eat breakfast, drink tea outside on the terrace. I really think that is a little thing which would help further improve the experience for customers. The same could be said for the Bar at night. Adding a bit of Green with plant and bushes on the terrace would probably enhance it further. Basically my take would be that the square is these humanised and having it proper terrace and a few plants could help compensate and naturally improve the Hotel experience for customers. Hotel is well positioned close to the train and bus station, within easy walking distance of the town centre. It is also well placed near tram stops so it is easy to go a little further afield without difficulty. A good choice for business trips.
