The renovated rooms and areas are clean but some thought should go into the room design. The tiny night table had a big old phone on it, leaving hardly any room for water or anything. The bed was only a few inches from the wall where the night table is, making it difficult to get in and out of bed. I tripped several times. There are no phone charging outlets (it is 2025 - I need these more than an old push button phone). There was a kettle and some coffee but no mug. There is a door between the main hotel room and the toilet, which is illogical. If I get up in the night, I need the toilet, not the shower. The food in the hotel restaurant is no longer nice. The menu is very restricted and for vegetarians, the only option is a ravioli that tastes like a Mac and cheese from a box. I asked for a salad or vegetable but was told no.

Old and outdated rooms with cigarette marks on the carpet, paper cups in the bathroom and non-functioning thermostats in the quite chilly rooms for only 160-170€/night. The breakfast is like in a hostel, below any standards with limited choice; The restaurant is under renovation so you can enjoy the meals in the lobby in front of the elevator. The staff is unable to issue a proper invoice, checkout took over 40min for 4 people. Default answer is no by the staff (asking for mustard at breakfast, i knew there is, only the third day could i succeed; or when called the hotel to modify the reservation name on our next stay, the answer was its not possible, but when calling back magically could succeed.). We stay here very often on business trip and the service level, the cleanness and the amenities are declining while prices are going up!

The Hotel is well located, but access was complicated due to construction works. The hotel was noisy (especially while the works were ongoing), there was a lamp that did not work properly in my rooms and I had problems with my keycard.
