Novotel Grenoble Centre Hotel 4 stars

Everything was perfect, except quality and variety of Breakfast should improve. It’s far from the level of Novotel.

Easy check in, room available early.

The stay was pleasant and the staff were very friendly. The room was not what I was expecting, however. The shower room appeared to be recently updated and was lovely but the shower head was leaky and I could not fix it. Thus the water pressure was extremely low. I am not a large person but it was tight getting into the toilet cubicle. I was travelling alone so did not have to worry about closing the door at least. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable but for the price I paid I felt it should have been in better repair. One of the lights was not working and was making a strange hum. The TV remote only worked intermittently. The selection at breakfast was poor but the food on offer was good quality. Overall I would say that my stay was only 'ok'.

Trip was OK, until I made a mistake. I forgot to collect toilet items before check out. The most important item is a dental device I need to use to sleep, which is expensive and takes time and effort to replace. It is stored in a green box. I checked out in the morning and realized my mistake in the afternoon. I called the hotel and asked for help to see if the items were found. Unfortunatelly, Novotel could not find it, even though I am 100% certain the item was left there. My biggest frustration is with myself, for sure. I'm the one who made the mistake. But I expect more from Novotel. Not only the employee I contacted never called me back - I had to call 2 to 3 times over the 2-3 following days until I heard they had not found -, but also they explained me that the "lost and found" room is a big mess and it is very hard to find things there.

I came back after a long period because of the outbreak, and I felt comfortable, I liked to be back. Anyway a small detail it never not happened before. The second day there was no soap, no shampoo or bath foam. Neither the ones of the day before, nor a new one. It was not a big problem, but I arrived in the room a 9pm and I just wanted a nice shower removing the sweat. Again, not a big problem, but please refocus as before. See you soon .

Positive: staff are helpfull. Negative: Incredibly dirty room, especially in a COVID situation where we expect to stay safely at a hotel. Asked 2 times to change room. The 3rd room was still dirty: toilet not clean, fridge not emptied from previous guests belongings, etc... Will never stay anymore at Novotel, and will keep talking negatively about it.

It was memorable stay in the Novotel. This stay was coincided with my wife's birthday. In this case I was asking the hotel to make something for her. Finally it was very nice, we have the perfect dinner with the offered Champagne, nice birthday cake and very nice service. Thank you very much for this stay! My Family was very happy! Only 1 thing, its the furniture inn the hotel, needs to be refreshed! All other is very good! It is very easy t reach the city center by walk through the Train Station (you need just pass it)! Thank you for all the staff from the hotel!

The hotel is fine as well as the rooms however there is no individual setting of the in-room temperature which is rather disturbing. Otherwise, the bar is all right and the breakfeast is very good. The parking is very convenient.

Nice hotel in Grenoble center. Rooms are large and clean. good breakfast. Hotel has a garage. Public transportation is good: train station and tramway stop is walking distance, very close. The reception is small, but good courtesy.

I was there on a Sunday Night to a Monday, there was more people then expected for a week-end in the restaurant on the Sunday night. But the food was of good quality as usual. On the Monday for lunch, there was steak + cafe gourmand for 14.5 euros which was a very good deal. The room upgrade was indeed very much appreciated.
