The rudest staff I have ever encountered, a hotel that doesn’t know the meaning of the word hospitality. No guest service, not enough equipment and they even ran out of beer and closed the bar at 10pm. Asking for water was a huge inconvenience! Food was terrible, poorly cooked and cold. A complete joke!

As the person in charge of quality in this hotel, it is with particular attention that I read your comment. I was sincerely sorry to learn that your last experience in our hotel did not live up to your expectations. I want you to know that customer satisfaction is our top priority, so I apologise for the inconvenience. Rest assured that your comments will be taken very seriously and will enable us to improve even further. From September 2024, our hotel will be undergoing a complete makeover! I found the welcome to the hotel very good, I found the hotel was tired and in need of some updating. There are large holes in the carpet on the 6th floor, the air conditioning in our conference facility was not working, there was not enough staff to support the restaurant and the bar area and every time we wanted a drink we have to look for staff. - Nobody at check in. Had to wait 20 min - Iron supplied was defective. Inspite of informing, no change done - Elevator not working for 2 nights out of 3 - Breakfast did not have good service. Eggs got over on all mornings and were not replaced for almost 30 min

good hotel with some needed improvements

Hotel is well situated. Personnel is very friendly. Breakfast buffet is adequate. Room on the fifth floor was clean, albeit showing signs of wear-and-tear, with bits of chipped paint (the walls in my room were dark, so chipped paint is very visible). One of the two lifts was out of order for the two days of my stay. One light bulb in the (dark) corridor of my room was not working, and was not replaced after I reported it. This is still relatively minor inconvenience. However: the shower in the men's sauna area was in bad sanitary conditions. Tiles were stained, the water pit was half clogged and regurgitating smelly debris, the shower head was leaking, there was no soap in the dispenser. And no cups and water carafes of water to re-hydrate yourself! All in all, an unpleasant surprise. If you boast a spa/ sauna, then you should should keep an impeccable hygiene! I asked the receptionist to come with me and showed her the situation. She was genuinely shocked and promised to report these shortcomings to the Direction. I trust immediate action was taken and regular controls will be instated.
