Both soap dispensers were empty. Only half a bottle of water in fridge. Sink was half blocked, water ran scary slow down drain.

bad service, fire drill at 7am on a Sunday morning, key cards constantly stopping working

reception staff incompetent and not wanting to work, except Bart and Edith. fire drill at 7am on a Sunday morning waking everybody up. No excuse, no explanation. Pool great though.

Although this hotel is situated on outskirts of Bordeaux it is perfect if you have a car. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly, rooms were clean and reasonably spacious, could have done with bit more shelf space but probably not many people stay for 5 nights as we did. We ate in the restaurant for 3 nights but unfortunately due to staff issues it was closed at the weekend. The 3 meals we had were very nice as were the breakfasts. Although a way out of the town there was a tram just a short walk away which took you anywhere in the centre of the city, which was perfect. Overall good experience at this lovely hotel.
