Everything about our stay was excellent. The location was ideal for our visit to Cité du Vin and as a base for a wine tour. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the meal at Le C was very good. Having on site parking with EV charging was very useful.

There were several things wrong with our stay. We were with a group with 5 rooms in the hotel. We had no hot water for 24 hours. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant which was appalling and the staff were inattentive and not at all customer focussed. Had to get our own drinks from the bar even though we were eating in the restaurant. There were no tea bags or milk in the room. The sink and the shower didn't work properly. We were not offered any compensation by the hotel. I will not be booking into this hotel again. This is not great for the Mercure brand!

Our 3rd floor room was rather small and very dark. We had no fridge. We also experienced no hot water for 24hrs. Dining in the restaurant was not brilliant and bar staff were very busy and therefore not attentive when serving customers.

Hotel room was good although due to a breakdown we had a day without hot water, we used the resturant once only as they did not have any steak left, and what we ordered had veg only with it, so we ordered a portion of fries and the meal came with fries but not the veg, by the time the missing veg arrived we had eaten our dinner, also why do you supply a kettle and tea/ coffee in the roombut no milk ?

Bar service was not good and whilst the accommodation was very good the rooms with no working aircon meant it was so warm it was difficult to sleep.

We understand how difficult it can be to rest properly when the room feels too warm, and we are sorry that this affected the quality of your sleep.
