Hotel was unable to provide a room at check in time and did not even try to find out the estimated time to get my room ready. I have to insist 3 times before the staff is willing to call and check the time it takes to get my room ready. The shower does not have hot water from morning to afternoon, and the water temperature is overly hot at night. The restaurant is good though, the staff at the restaurant were friendly.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Mercure Bordeaux. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to explore the city. Breakfast wasn't the best, but I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Bordeaux.

Found hotel very good. Liked location- a little out of town towards the north of centre (chose as going to Atlantico Stadium-C tram) but easy flat walk or tram ride to town. Supermarket one block away and good Italian/pizza restaurant close by. The room was a good size. AC and windows that open. Tea making with kettle and small fridge. Bed large and really very comfortable good blackout curtains so we slept well. Breakfast was excellent- great choices - think worth getting. Only ‘complaint’ was sticky/tacky tables - think they need to use different cleaning spray or something..? We stayed 4 nights would stay again.

I was disappointed that the air conditioning in room 363 was not functioning. The room was very warm after recent weather

As previously said staff and room were good.Good location of hotel, however on the evening of arrival we had a meal in the restaurant.The steak was inedible as was my pasta, we didnot finish the food as it was unpleasant.
