Sink in bathroom would not drain away. Had to change rooms. 37degrees on our arrival. Dined in the restaurant but the doors to the restaurant terrace were left open so the inside was as hot as outside. Little point in having the air conditioning on.

We enjoyed our visit thanks mainly to the staff. Our room was adequate although it needed to be modernised in decor. Outside our room (427)the view of the lac was completely obscured by a tree which was unfortunate . The breakfast was of a good continental standard , and the one meal that we had was of a decent standard compared with the price. The hotel was well served by the tram system and facilities such as the pool area at the Pullman Hotel and the Ethereum beach bar
