Reception staff on check in was abrupt & not overly helpful. We had booked & paid in advance for a Suite for 7 nights back in March. Later in evening when asked if it was possible to have a Lake view room /Suite she abruptly said you haven't booked a lake view so no. On checking, you cant select Lake view when booking a Suite so her information was incorrect & also I don't know why a room with a view of the Lake was not allocated considering we were there for 7 nights. Breakfast staff were unwelcoming & ignored you. Food was very nice but not well organised - more plate stations would be useful rather than just the one considering the buffet was so spread out. Bowls weren't the cleanest. We had drinks in the bar one evening, bar man was uninterested & rude - felt we'd disturbed him! On our first night, which was a Saturday, we, along with a few other guests waited over 10 minutes for a bar man to appear - it was just before 10pm. I asked at Reception if there was anyone serving, she said he'll be there soon he's doing room service, we are short staffed! No apology. Not what you expect from a Pullman Hotel. Last year we stayed a few nights in the Pullman Bercy, Paris - staff were fabulous, very friendly, this is why I booked a Pullman again - what a mistake!
