Our penultimate overnight hotel before crossing into Spain was in Bordeaux, we have stayed in Bordeaux quite a few times but never at the same hotel, so yet another different one this time. Our room on the 3rd floor had good views over the lake and beyond the city. Modern hotel with its own secure parking. Good food and drink options and close to tram in case you wanted to head into the city centre. Breakfast was also the best one we have had so far on our journey. Would most definitely consider this hotel again.

The hotel was fine BUT Fridge missing from the room Ironing board a joke Breakfast service always late The grounds of the hotel are in a very poor state.

The hotel is not well maintained, the public areas are dirty. It seemed not to had been cleaned for a long time, spider webs, dirty windows, dirty floors. The room is a rather 3 star hotel than a 4 star one. Absent hotel amenities for a 4 star hotel- there is no spa, its is supposed to have a swimming pool but it’s only for summer, the gym is a small hotel room with 3-4 machines (looks ridiculous). Definitely I would say it’s an overrated hotel with high room rates.

Lovely hotel. Big clean rooms and bathroom with separate toilet. Comfy bed. Lacked a fridge in room and no milk for tea/coffee.

Very nice hotel with lovely room overlooking the lake and very comfortable beds. A little bit far from city centre but tram stop beside hotel is very convenient. Very disappointed with the breakfast at €25 per person. Fruit was poor quality and when my wife complained with a photograph nothing was done and same fruit appeared the next morning. Availability of hot food was hit and miss with only scrambled egg on one particular morning with no bacon or mushrooms. We had booked a bed&breakfast package but on checkout reception ware insisting on an additional charge for breakfast even though we had an email confirming our package. This was finally resolved by a manager.
