We had only one night in Bordeaux and wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the spa. The room we booked was upgraded to a very spacious suite. The drinks, cheese plate, and breakfast were all delicious. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The location, while not in the city center, was great. It was located within walking distance from the city tram, which was located adjacent to the Gironde. It was also within walking distance from the Cite du Vin (which is also reachable by the tram). The hotel also provided valet parking, which was extremely convenient to us as we rented a car for travel between the wineries of the Left and Right bank regions. We booked a room with a courtyard and we used it daily. We loved having champagne in the mornings and Bordeaux in the evening. Morimoto, the hotel’s restaurant, aLao exceeded our expectations. From the menu to the wine selection, we were never disappointed. I mean, where else can you get a Margaux by the glass? The staff at the hotel was one of the best we’ve ever experienced . Beginning with Hugo, the concierge, who booked many tastings before we even arrived. Margaux and Alexis at the concierge desk were incredibly friendly, kind, and extremely efficient. They exemplified what concierge service is all about. They really went out of their way to assist in our every need. And although the valets were supreme, Tess was one of a kind!! She always came to greet us whenever she saw us, offering good advice with a sweet disposition. Finally the spa was fantastic. Our only disappointment was that we could not use it more often.

Beautiful property. Comfortable room. Check in was a disaster, had to wait for our room over an hour after it was promised. Luggage was not delivered to room, we did not have time to change before our dinner. Finally sent my husband down to retrieve it. Not sure why the team was so poorly coordinated. Was not the service expected.
