We booked this hotel due to its proximity to the Matmut stadium as we were going to see Bordeaux play. The hotel exceeded all our expectations by a long way. Easy to find, secure and free car parking, very friendly staff who really seemed to care about us having a nice stay. Lovely modern and bright room overlooking the lake, plenty of hot water, lovely comfy bed. Excellent bar/restaurant staff and good food and beer. Sunday morning we wanted to go into Bordeaux centre so the lady at reception gave us a map and where to get on the tram, which was just a short walk from the hotel and said we could leave our car at the hotel for as long as we needed. All in all a perfect stay for us and we would definitely come back.

Often stayed here as it is a good location for travelling from U.K. via St Malo and onwards to Spain. The hotel has been refurbished and is much better standard now. Staff always friendly and helpful. Menu a bit limited though (Sunday night?) but food was OK. Breakfast was excellent.
