Novotel Wroclaw City 3 stars

Good location. Easy to get to the airport. Well looked after even organised a taxi for me to the airport and was given a wake up call.Could not ask for anything more or better.

Good experience. Very friendly stuff especially Łukasz and Radek. Breakfast was standard, you can order many various types of coffe in lobby. Rooms are clean, whatever is missing you can have at recepturom aswell

Very good situation and very comfortable and clean rooms with a lovely garden area. The room had all the necessary details including a kettle which we always appreciate for our early morning coffee. I would definitely choose to sty thee again as everything about the hotel was highly satisfactory.

The room was well appointed and looked good on first impressions to a tasteful colour scheme with good windows. Centrally controlled air conditioning though (typical Accor) and only English TV station was France 24. I get Accor are French, but if you are so interested in France, probably you're going to watch it in French, which is already available. Why not something more international for the rest of us at least as an option? Anyway, this aside, the bed was comfortable, there were plenty of sockets, a comfortable chair and decent table and good tea and coffee making facilities and the windows were nice and big. Not a whole lot to complain about. Having desk right in front of TV is not my favourite position for it though. Beside tables so so. The bathroom was fine, the shower good and well appointed, would have been better to be able to close the shower off rather than being open but that's alright. Having toilet in it's own room is a nice idea, but loses the points for that when you see that the door to the toilet had a big gap at the bottom of it, so any idea to isolate it from the room and any potential smell is not as effective as it could and should be and also I'm not quite so sure having a toilet in a different room from the sink is a best choice anyway And now let me get onto my personal bugbear. The lighting. Not only are the lights by the side of the bed poor (and one of them didn't work properly) and the one in front of the TV not much better, what on earth is the point of that light tube near the window for? It's literally, a heavy, long tube with a light at the top of it, pointing to the ceiling, of which there is already lights on going around the window frame? What on earth. I mean honestly, talk about style over substance. How about an actual effective light for the rest of the room? No? I guess style over substance it is. Wi-Fi was so so, staff were fine, only having one elevator though is a bit of a downer, but probably something that is hard to fix, Reception area is a bit dark and the bar area didn't look that inviting so I never used it. When I checked out the staff were fine, but didn't seem to care about my stay, normally in hotels I'd be asked how my stay was, but seemingly it didn't matter here. The rate I paid was fine, but can't say I'm that satisfied with some of Accor's choices that they've made in the design of this room. Would I come here again? Maybe, but nothing special.
