I was a bit surprised , I was told that only lever 1and level 2 are available for Silver members. It is a while since I have been a Platinum member and I thought I stayed there as a Siver member on higher floors, maybe because I knew a lot of the staff then and was always promoting your hotel. Admittedly I only stayed at your hotel once last year. I do not ever to expect to get anything I was not entitled to but it crossed my mind the people that are non members would be staying on the first floor as well ! I did mention in passing to the man I had stayed at this hotel probably for about the last 15 years because it was always home away from home when I would stay there. I think it is Dave ? who has been at your hotel in for about forty years, I have know him ever since I have been coming there. All good hotels have profiles on regular customers, regular for me is up to four times a year considering I live in Australia. It is unfortunate the lack of enthusiasm from this man at the front desk was so that he only considered at level one was okay and not level two. I asked for away from the main road which is noisy so he said it facing the back garden which I knew well. When I went to the room I was looking at a black roof. What stings is this Novotel was my favourite hotel in my travels because of the great staff who connected with the customers, connection is everything, sadly not anymore !
