Really appreciated this place, well located for a motorway stop off. Friendly staff, the most comfortable travel cot my son has ever had-toddler pillow, duvet and a comfortable mattress. (We normally bring these things so was nice not to worry!) the pool was refreshing and the little play area is a simple but effective idea my son (and loads of other children) loved pottering about with the toys. Great stay!

Overall, the hotel is very good, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. However, there is always one “but.” I would really like the air conditioning to actually work instead of only giving the impression that it does. Also, some of the rooms could benefit from a deep cleaning of the carpet. Other than that, the hotel is excellent. I would like to emphasize once again that the staff are extremely responsive, kind, and welcoming. The good service provided by the staff made our stay much more enjoyable.

The hotel was pretty packed, and almost impossible to find a parking spot. People were yelling, and kept running up and down the hallway up until 1 AM, and then it all started again 6 AM., So we skipped breakfast and got out of there early. Besides that, rooms were nice.

Nice staff and really good breakfast. However, we think the hotel looks worn. The carpets are dirty, the doors have air under them so that all noise in the hallway can be heard. The pool is nice, but unheated and lots of leaves fall into it during the day. Parking in the hotel parking lot costs money, but note that the parking lot is open and does not require a ticket. Which means that everyone can park regardless of ticket or not. Several times we experienced that all spaces were full and other guests just parked in the middle of it all.

Half amenities like lights, fridge and other didn't work. We hadn't towels and we had to go at reception. Bottle were emptied so we had to use our shampoo. What is worse it is that in the paid parking i had my car damaged. It wasn't a nice stay at all.

Things did not work, restaurant closed, car parking not secure but expensive

The hotel cost a fortune, because Rock im Park was on, even thougth we booked 10 months ahead. It's allegedly a 4 star hotel - it could easily have been a 3 once, but is so rundown and decrepit, it's very much a 2 now: - The carpet had holes worn through - The bed springs had collapsed at top and bottom, leaving a lump in the middle - Huge bloodstain on the mattress - AC blew a fan but didn't cool - sofa back covered in dust Our stay variously cost 1-400 per night for each night of the 5 night stay. We didn't have a choice but to stay at that point, but would never go back. Oh and our keys stopped working/were misconfigured twice!

Nina was a great help with accepting a parcel delivered before my arrival - thank you so much! Advertised room service available but there was none during my entire stay - very inconvenient and I'm not impressed with the false advertising. Plus, your restaurant was not open the night I arrived - I know sometimes things are unavoidable but I had a long journey and no car to get to another option, so I wasn't terribly happy. I hope that was a one-off. Some dust in the room but overall fairly clean. Happy to find window was openable - better than using a/c.

Wasn't able to use sauna it was switched off. No bread to make toast, staff said they had no delivery due to the day, cold beans, egg and sausages at 9am. Not much left for the children also. For 2 days bacon burnt no one eat it. No stretch Mat in gym. coffee machine broke down. Juice is watered down.

Location from Messe was good (walking distance, train) however the hotel felt old and dated. Carpets and walls were stained and need replacing/painting. The exercise facilities were terrible. Need more and newer equipment. The restaurant was average with limited choices. The room was fine however the sheets were rough (I used a t-shirt over my pillow).
