We've booked a one night at the Novotel since we were in transit. The room was decent. I liked the restaurant, the pool area (although we didn't have time to swim), gym facilities and the layout of the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't have time to eat breakfast so I am unable to comment. There is a shopping complex opposite to it. Overall we had a very good stay!

The upgrade to an executive room was a real bonus. Large bed and larger room. Very comfortable. The only downside was the meal in the restaurant was served a bit cool. The staff seemed extremely busy for the numbers seated and food was sitting on the pass too long before being distributed to the tables.

good location, food's ok and the rooms are old. Bed's too small and worn out with poor sound proofing so you don't get a good sleep or maybe we were unlucky.

Disappointing service. We chose to leave the hotel in the early hours of the morning to get an early crossing as our children were ill. When we asked whether we could pay just for the room, without breakfast given our unexpected change of plan it was a flat no which I think is unexceptional for a large hotel chain like this. Also, paper cups in the rooms to drink your complimentary tea out of is ridiculous, as is the allocation of one year bag in a room sleeping four people. We often stay in Novotels but will be rethinking our choice in the future.

As this offer is sold as a package, the room and breakfast cannot be separated or refunded individually after the booking has been made. We limit the use of plastic bags and provide waste-sorting bins in our rooms to encourage recycling and better waste management. Not ideally located quite a way out of town, on the face looked clean but inside not so, particularly bad staining inside the wardrobe, rooms outdated, sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable, no cutlery for coffee making. Staff were mainly very friendly and helpful, outdoor pool a bonus which was fairly clean, good breakfast although breakfast staff were a little rude.

Stayed here multiple times. Hotels is located right on the route north to Calais and the Eurotunnel so perfect as an overnight stop over. Hotel has recently been refurbished so rooms are modern clean well equipped. Hotel has a good restaurant, gym swimming pool.
