Not happy with the room provided, obviously a room for the less able. I booked a classic room with sofa bed. Cups for coffee were plastic glasses, small wooden sticks as spoons. I'd rate the room as below Ibis budget. Breakfast is well below par, butter 🧈 cut a lump off a small rectangle.

During our arrival for check-in, we were informed by the receptionist that there was no room available matching our booking of one double bed and two single beds, despite this being what we had reserved online. I later agreed to proceed with any available room suitable for three guests. We were then asked to wait an additional hour for the room to be prepared, which was frustrating given that we had travelled from another country and arrived on time for check-in. While the room itself was pleasant, the air conditioning was not functioning properly. Although it appeared to be switched on, it did not work and was noticeably dusty, so we had to keep the window open for ventilation. Additionally, when we asked the receptionist for recommendations in Lille, they seemed uninterested and somewhat blunt in their response, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the receptionist during check-out was very friendly, as was another gentleman we encountered, which we appreciated.

Reception was friendly The person at the bar on 26/4/26 never asked me if i wanted something to drink ( waited for 40min) he came asking if i had a cigaret for him🤨. When i asked if i could have something to eat/snack he said "NO, you can go to McDonalds nextdoor" never will i stay here again
