I enjoyed my short stay at Novotel Lens. And the restaurant was great as well! I normally do not take my meals outside of breakfast in the hotels where I stay because I like trying local places and seeing something beyond where I am staying. My colleagues knew the hotel and praised the food as well and I had a nice regional meal. Ample parking and the staff friendly and helpful whether it was on the phone making the resevation or in person when i arrived.

We stayed in 2 executive rooms for 6 nights in August 2025 and explored the region. The hotel rooms were good, well designed and comfortable except that the mattress protectors have a plastic lining which can be sweaty and uncomfortable. The reception staff are friendly and efficient but did not ask for feedback on check out. The restaurant food was good but it was difficult to get someone to take the order, there were not enough staff. Once the order was taken the food arrived quickly. Outside, there are football goals, petanque, table tennis and a swimming pool. The pool area needs a good clean. The glass barrier that surrounds the pool was dirty and not cleaned during our stay. The pool itself was not very clean. There were bits of debris and insects inside. The hotel photographs show an outdoor bar which was closed throughout. This makes the area look run down and uninviting. The hotel location is very convenient, close to the A1 and A21. We visited Lille, Arras, Parc Asterix, Parc d'Olhain, Louvre-Lens parc and museum.
