The ladies at the reception were professional, engaging, helpful and friendly. That alone is a great welcome to any guest. Room was very comfortable, with nice amenities. I have been loyal to the Accor brand for almost 20 years and appreciate the high quality of service throughout its brands.

Unfriendly and unhelpful reception desk. Bar open but no service available. Room not clean, no quality control. Dirty food trolley blocking hallway and never removed. Supposedly renovated, but really just a fixer-upper.

This is nothing more than a cheap budget hotel trying to pose as something better. Housekeeping obviously has no quality control so consequently the rooms are not clean and trolleys with leftover meals litter the hallway. Service from the expensive bistro-like bar/restaurant is non-existent and treatment from the reception desk (which is literally just a pulpit in the entrance lobby) is horrible. I should have heeded the many negative reviews posted here. Ignore these at your own peril!

The hotel is well located in a semi rural area with some great views. The major problem we had was having our bikes stolen from the locked and secured carpark. The bikes were locked to the bike carrier but the thieves came well equipped to cut through the fence and through the locks that secured. them. The police station is very close and we were able to report the loss easily. According to the police this type of incident happens quite regularly at the hotel so if you are bringing bikes or camping equipment make sure you don't leave them in the car park. We were told after the event that it is possible to store bikes inside the hotel but this information should really have been shared on check in. The carpark is secured with a locked gate and a metal fence. I'm not really sure what else they can do from a physical security point of view. I do think though they could be more proactive in making guests aware of the problem. It was also disappointing that the manager, when he came back on shift after the weekend, didn't reach out with a call or email to update us on whether the police had been out to review CCTV or even just a "really sorry this happened to you whilst staying at the hotel I manage". Not great customer service. The really nice lady who ran breakfast and lunch did give us a free lunch when she found out so thank you to her.
