It felt like a very expensive Ibis Budget. The location is nice and the staff is generally decent; however, the rooms are not clean, the furniture is cheap and deteriorated, and the towels were more gray than white. The €20 buffet feels like a hidden surcharge. When we arrived, most of the food was already gone, and we were told we could “ask if we wanted something.” That’s difficult to do when you don’t know what’s available—and even when you ask, it takes around 15 minutes to receive it. I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in hotels ranging from 3 to 5 stars. My expectations for a 4-star hotel are a clean, comfortable room with more than just the basics, along with a varied, fresh, and abundant breakfast. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met. Additionally, during check-out, there was no other guests at the counter, although a man was nearby at a table, apparently occupied with something else. I was holding a small child and managing luggage, yet I was asked to wait because another guest was “there first” for check-out. I don’t usually expect priority because I have a child with me, but in this situation—given that the other guest was not actively checking out—I would have expected the receptionist to at least politely ask if it was possible to assist me first.

Can only say that breakfast was disappointing. We went down at 8.45 Am to very little hit food left, coffee machine being cleaned and some degree of chaos. Assuming this is new and by next year will have it under control.
