X1583TLstever Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Very impressed with the room (although didn't understand the empty glass water bottle on the empty fridge, some water would have been welcome) and the restuarant and breakfast were very good quality. However upon check out the next morning the young lady wanted to charge me for the room and breakfast even though these had been prepaid three months earlier through the Accor Hotels own loyalty program,not Booking.com as she maintained. She insisted I was wrong so I had to spend 20 minutes looking back for email confirmation and bank statements which when presented to her she then insisted I had told her the wrong room numbers even though I had handed her the room key cards with them printed on. She didn't even have te courtesy to apologise for her mistake and the delay she caused us and the people in the queue which completely soured the stay, so it's unlikely I will use Novotel again if their booking system isn't up to scratch. My 'Poor' score is directed wholly at the reception the rest of the service in the restaurant and breakfast were very good.

A nice hotel for a family stay. Kids were very happy about the pool. Breakfast was tasty. Only negative point was the room was a bit too warm. Air conditioning did not help or work.
