I cross Europe by car three to four times a year, and I always stop at the Ibis Metz Woippy. It's conveniently located in my journey from the UK (right distance from Coquelles / Calais, as I regularly use the Eurotunnel). It is easily reachable from the motorway; it is easy to park the car in the internal car park (free); the rooms are, well Ibis rooms, but more than adequate; the staff are invariably kind and professional; and, most importantly, they have La Boucherie, a lovely restaurant (if you must be a meat lover!). I now tend to use the "plus£ rooms, which have some pleasant amenities, such as mineral water for the night and a Nespresso machine for the morning.

Overnight stay on route to our main holiday destination. Experience was disappointing. Difficulty accessing my room on at least 2 occasions, the room was in need of an update, bed comfy, pillows not so. The shower was ok. Food in the restaurant was very good, but breakfast let it down.
