Staff disposed of our balloons for my wife’s 30th birthday that we did not get to take photos with, then a manager came to tell us we lied and my wife had instructed them to take the balloons. My wife and I were together and not even in the suite for the entire morning. It was completely unprofessional and rude and crazy that a lie was fabricated. They refused to bring the set up I paid for and ruined her birthday and instead took it off the bill. Upon check out they refused to remove it off the bill and I had to go back and forth before the removed another package we had booked but not the expensive package we didn’t receive. Eventually they removed the expensive charge. Terrible service and experience. I also paid for a high level suite, we were placed on the 5th floor. It is unacceptable. Would not recommend this place again.

I made a reservation for king size bed/room over Valentine’s Day overnight for my wife and I. Very disappointed to get a ADA (handicap-room) with low bed and no shower doors. When you pay $555 a night, you expect to get what you reserved. We had plans for the day and didn’t have time to correct with the front desk, it was also very saturated. The we went to the Frame for some drinks after visiting the Eiffel Tower. Advertised prices were different than the bill. 9 € Heineken was 14€ and we could Never get a waiter to come back to order another. By that time we have to flag down a waiter for the bill just to leave to make our dinner reservation. I expected much better and got the worst service ever. Very disappointed!

The staff were indifferent and unwelcoming, and there was constant construction noise. There was no hot water from the sink, and when I used the coffee machine, water leaked from the unit. The overall atmosphere felt oddly outdated. It seems the high price is solely for the Eiffel Tower view. Considering there are many other great hotels at a similar price, there’s really no reason to stay here.

The air conditioning in the hotel is apparently completely disabled during the winter. There is no way to control the room temperature. The room was uncomfortably and unbearably hot, with no way to cool it down other than to open the windows. We had to sleep with the window open, which of course was very, very loud with the street noise. The hotel advertises one of its amenities as “air conditioning.” It does not state that there is no air conditioning or no way to control the room temperature in the winter. Had we known this, we never would have chosen to stay at this hotel. The room rate was very expensive and the beds were also extremely uncomfortable. Hotel staff were all very kind and the view of the Eiffel Tower was beautiful. Overall not a great experience at all.
