I don’t mind paying a premium for drinks in a hotel but £6.90 for a 275ml bottle of Becks 0% is an absolute disgrace when they are the equivalent of 60p per bottle from a supermarket. The duvet cover on our sofa bed had small holes and tears in it. It’s disappointing that for over £200/night parking isn’t complimentary. The positives - breakfast was great and the restaurant area is very nice. Pool area is clean and is great for the kids which is the reason we chose to stay here.

Dear Paul, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback for us. We are sorry that your stay was not as pleasant as you had expected. From your rating and your review, I can see that certain aspects of the stay were disappointing. I am sorry that you were not happy with the prices of our accommodation and our bar. Please know that we do not take pricing lightly, and we do not set our own prices independently. Everything is carefully reviewed by revenue managers in accordance to prices and standards in the city, and within the current economic climate that we are all living in. Regarding room rates specifically, it would be impossible for us to set a rate that is "too expensive" compared to other hotels of a similar category in the city. If we were too expensive, then nobody would book a room with us. All our rates are always 100% aligned with rates elsewhere, and with occupancy and demand of our services. We are fully booked almost every night, and the rates do reflect that. We are transparent regarding our pricing and the car park charges. This can be found online easily before booking. I am sorry that you felt the quality of your accommodation did not reflect the rate. May I ask if you spoke to the reception desk regarding this point? As we are always available to assist our guests with any issue during the stay. I hope that you give us another chance in the future, as I know we could do better for you. I enjoyed our stays at Novotel , the bed is comfortable. But items such as the shower caps, toothbrushes should be available in the bathroom .

We had the best service . As an Accor member our room was upgraded to a suite Right from lovely reception staff to bar and restaurant couldn’t fault anything or anyone Great pool and gym area Would highly recommend

I had a terrible experience on check in staff asked if I had a car, which I told them was in the disabled space outside the hotel reception and I was told I had to put my car in the car park? I then explained I was a Blue Badge holder and I was told I could park in the disabled space and I was asked for my registration to be noted. I was them given a hotel room as far away as possible from the reception, for someone that had mobility challenges and to make it worse when I did retire to bed at 11pm the tram or train was buzzing passed my window every 20mins, then stopped and started again when it woke me at 4.20am, terribly disappointing/

Dear Mr. B., I am so sorry to hear that, unfortunately, your latest experience did not go well. I am sorry that the receptionist at check-in did not fully understand that you are a blue badge holder and that, as such, you can park in front of the hotel. I will personally follow this up with the team to understand the full picture of this situation. Regarding your room, I would like to take this opportunity to explain that, as you checked in at 17:45 and we were operating on a full house day, at that time we unfortunately did not have rooms close to the lift. You had been allocated in room 402 - an executive room - due to your Accor membership, that granted you a complimentary upgrade on the day. There were no previous requests or notes on your profile to request a room close to the lift, and on a day when we are fully booked, we are very limited on availability at that time of the day. Please rest assured that I will discuss this topic with the team nevertheless, and I would suggest requesting your preferred room features next time. We are next to the tram and train stations and there is nothing that we can do to change that. However, again, if you requested to be allocated on the opposite side of the hotel, we would be glad to carry out your request before hand. We are sorry for the inconveniences caused to you. This was our 8th visit to this fabulous hotel as a family of 4, it is just wonderful The rooms are immaculate and lobby, bar food/ breakfast all fantastic. Staff are always so friendly and go above and beyond for your needs. We were very very happy on our last visit that we got upgraded to the executive suite and wow. 2 rooms with a balcony just total luxury so thankyou very much we wer thrilled. The pool is the main reason we always go as my autistic son loves the pool and it has just a lovely atmosphere, dimmed lights and never that busy and he absolutely loves it. I would recommend this place every time and so to all my family and friends. The man at reception I didn’t catch his name but he was so sweet with my son and even gave him some free cuddly toys. Tram and retail is right outside where you can get everything you need, absolutely amazing thank you so so much again we will be back soon!

Hotel itself was lovely and looked after well. Mini fridge was empty and for the price I feel as though it should have had some things available inside. Two small towels in room which was for 4 people ( not ideal ) no slippers etc for going to use facilities. Was okay but could have been much better. Wasn’t told about code for parking when asking about the parking at arrival by receptionist either. The staff in the restaurant were great, especially the girl with my children. Nothing was too much for her at all!

Dear Chloe, Thank you for your kind review. We are sorry that you experienced some issues, and that you did not feel the "wow factor" during your stay with us. This is regrettable, but we will take your feedback on board and keep working towards improvement. Please know that we are in one of our busiest times of the year, and you stayed on a Saturday with full house, hence the higher tan average rates. I would also like to mention that our car park has at least 15 different signs instructing guests on how to pay for the car park. We have tried very hard to make this information visible to everyone (residents and non-residents) and we trust that this information is going to be extremely easy to spot due to the amount of signage present in the car park area. We sincerely hope that you give us another chance in the future, please if you would like to stay with us again, message me directly on da… so that I can offer you something special next time, and hopefully make it up to you. The room was comfortable, love, but very close to the train station. The soundproofing was very poor. You could hear every train even the early hours of the morning.
