Lovely stay and enjoyed the Blue Mountains and the Fairmont with its festive Christmas decorations. Place has a family feel and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Plain_Truth TripAdvisor review

Far from a premium resort, not close to Fairmont standards, old, dated in need of urgent maintenance, cleaning needs to be stepped up, staff need urgent upskilling, overcrowded with kids racing around and screaming at the top of their voices, more serenity at Central station, an embarrassment for the Accor and Fairmont brand, close it down and fix it up immediately.

Was not overly impressed by facilities. Rooms were dirty (bedside table, lamps, telephone covered in dust), carpet stained, etc. Advertised facilities only partially available. No pool towels available. Only true positive of this experience was the staff. Everyone was very kind and helpful!

From the 6+ wedding contract variations due to errors or missed information to the 6+ changes in wedding/event organisers and the complete lack of organisation and miscommunication is just the beginning. My wedding weekend was ruined by disruptions and lack of readiness multiple time which could have been resolved with a little management and proper handover when people change role or move on. Instead I was expected to scramble to find emails and evidence of changes for my self while I shod have been enjoying my time on my wedding weekend. I will never recommend this venue and highly urge anyone considering it to go elsewhere. My dream wedding was turned into a poor experience and sad memory.
