Property sadly did not live up to expectations. Discovered upon check-in that room refrigerator had spoiled food in it from a previous guest. Breakfast the next morning had a 30-45 minute wait. Gym does not live up to expectations for a Fairmont property. A bathroom in a suite should have more than one sink. Hotel did not acknowledge my platinum status in any way.

The room is very cozy and comfortable. The inwall heater doesn't work that well and fan is very noisy. Aside from outdated facility, the staffs were very friendly and accomadating.

Our recent stay at the Fairmont was enjoyable thanks to out-of-town friends, but the condition of the Fairmont Dallas itself was disappointing. As a longtime Dallas icon, the Fairmont name still signals upscale quality to many visitors—yet the reality falls short. The hotel is overdue for a major overhaul. In a city that leads the country in plastic surgery, it’s time to give the old girl a facelift.
