I proposed in this hotel last weekend. I had trouble booking online- probably operator error. When I called I talked to Matthew, who helped me with my reservation. I informed him of the special occasion, and the accommodation was mind-blowing. The staff expressed their excitement for myself and my now fiancé. We were upgraded rooms and given a credit to ‘The Hive’- their amazing restaurant in the lobby. When we arrived to our room we found a trail of rose pedals on the floor leading to the bedroom, a bottle of champagne in a bucket of ice, and a plate of chocolate truffles waiting for us. The free upgrade included a balcony (almost) large enough to be a loft apartment. After the proposal, we took the 3-minute walk from the hotel to the Bentonville square for dinner. The location, accommodation and friendliness of the staff were something I’ve never experienced in hospitality. We WILL be back very soon. Well done 21c! Well done!

We stayed with you 10 years ago and loved the hotel. On this stay we found the hotel a little dated. Our bathroom was poorly designed so not very functional. No shower caps or other amenities.Everything just seemed a little tired. We love the penguins and the art. The overall concept is great. Just needs to be spiffed up.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, when we checked out I overlooked a pair of diamond earrings and a diamond necklace on the dresser. I called the front desk an hour after we had left the hotel and put in a claim for lost and found. The front desk was very pleasant and said housekeeping was still on our floor and she would check on it immediately and call me back. 24 hours later, I had not heard and called again. They had not recovered my jewelry, and though I told her exactly where I had left it and that I had only left the property an hour prior (thus the room hadn't been turned over), they weren't able to recover it. Very disappointing that a cleaning staff member wouldn't automatically take jewelry to a manager on site or a designated lost and found. From a property and staff of this caliber I expected better.
