The room was comfortable, although the pillows were not. I had to turn the AC down to 62 to get it to cool down to around 70. Those things I can deal with because the staff and everything else was great. Why I rated the stay low is because of the elevators. Not only did it take 24 minutes for someone to get an elevator to get to our conference session, I got stuck in one of them.

This was my second stay at the Fairmont in Dallas. The location is great and the hotel is charming and has great, friendly staff. The rooms, however, are dated with bathrooms/shower really showing their age with a tub/shower combo that was cracked, appeared dirty, and had a very low shower head. The guest elevators are also a source of frustration - I waited at least 10 minutes at one point for an elevator to the lobby and ultimately took the stairs because it still wasn’t there. Additionally, the WiFi service was poor and I ended up having to use my personal hot spot on my phone in order to work. Unfortunately this experience is similar to my stay here in March of 2025.

The room was great. The AC was freezing cold through out the hotel and the elevators are small, old and often non functional causing extreme delays to get up and down floors.

While the room was comfortable, it felt run down. Trying to get an elevator was a nightmare - I would have to wait up to 20 minutes for one to arrive. I even got traped in one of them.
