First I really like the location of this property. Would like to use regularly and have many times in the past. Lobby is welcoming and staff is courteous and friendly. I struggle with the rooms. Too often I find myself in rooms that are not only outdated but in need of repair. Making a call to maintenance is just not the fix. This last stay the shower head would not stay up due to age and calcium build up. It's often little things like this but have experience other times with rooms that have rotted (and slightly repaired) base boards, older furniture, etc. It's just not Fairmont quality. Why should I have to report a faulty shower head? The cleaning staff would have had to notice it. Also, the elevators have taken such a beating other the years, they do not match the quality of the lobby but more so the rooms that are in need of remodeling. Ownership...please put a hammer to this place and return it to its glory days.

Pretty nice stay through my American Express booking. Great location downtown, very walkable area. Breakfast was delicious but I cannot say the same about some of their dinner items. I was also never told about a car being able to take guests within a 1 mile radius, it was never advertised.
