The service here was good. The concierge team mostly lived up to the standards of a highly rated and respected hotel, the reservation staff, the same. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious and included all of the amenities I would want in a room, minus a refrigerator. There was a fridge, but it was stocked with expensive drinks I was never going to partake in. Had I not booked this room at a pretty sweet deal, I would not have paid what this room would traditionally go for though. The carpet smells as if it’s been around since smoking was still allowed in some rooms. I could still smell the stench. The hot water made a drilling noise, maybe because of old piping, the entire shower experience. Overall, nice experience- meets expectations.
