Two areas for improvement - reception staff can be a bit more friendly and less mechanical- it is a 5 star property. Gym is way too small. I trained there with 3 other people and if we had 3 more we would be unable to move around. Breakfast was nice but the line for fried eggs was unbearable. General selection at BF buffet is pretty average and the fact that you had to specify that you wanted a barrista rathet than a machine made coffee was a bit irritating.

Very nice hotel literally right next to the train station. We bought a two level suite which was great for one exception (repeated tries at getting TV on the 2nd floor were failures). Service was very good, rooms clean, very nice bar.

I travel a lot for work. I am used to a wide range of quality when it comes to accomodations. My stay at Sofitel in Munich has truly been exceptionel.
What I have valued most;
Overall cleanliness. Temperature control of the room was perfect. I was never too cold or hot. The pillows offered the right amount of support. It was calm and quiet. I never felt disturbed.
What could be improved:
The shower leaks water into the bathroom unit, leading to either wet floor or towels on the floor.

1. Have a 2nd yogamat in gym

5. I LOVE THE VEGAN BREAKFAST OPTIONS! Lots of greens, more of that!
6. As idea for the Croissant pudding, which I love as way to reuse left overs: In the Hyatt in Berlin they do a “Bread pudding “ without egg but more with a cinnamon fudge inside. This is amazing and not that big like the egg heavy Croissant pudding
7. I LOVE the tea menu at breakfast
8. IMPORTANT: I asked for a taxi at the Portier and they asked me either to wait 3-5 minutes or go over the street to the taxi stand. That is not an option. You should have a direct line of cabs in front of the hotel. Minimum for 5stars. You have space in front of the hotel. Also, the cab driver told me that if guests ask for cab, only the Portier would directly call cab immediately via a slack group if it is a long distance airport ride (else for inner city like me: wait or go over the street and help yourself). Then, if they call the taxi for the long airport ride via this WhatsApp group, the drivers need to pay your Portier 20€ - seems like a black market mafia behavior (cab driver spoke of “Arab, Afghan organized groups” - I cannot comment on that and want to avoid racial discrimination but to play that back from the driver). Fix that! That is unbearable, corruption, and must not be tolerated.
3, 4, 8 led to an 8 rating vs 10, while I normally love the stay with you.
