We stayed at the Sofitel 10/15-10/19. The citywide protests occurred during this time. It was so nice to be able to come back to our beautiful hotel after our days’ adventures. A few items in the room probably needed some attention: blinking bathroom lights and Nespresso power. We did not bring it to hotel attention, but if we had, I feel that they would have fixed it promptly.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very accommodating. I would probably rate it higher if it weren’t for the very dangerous process of entering/exiting a high-walled bathtub in which the safety mat had been removed. Both my wife and I fell over the course of a week.

The Sofitel Le Faubourg is superb! From the warm welcome to the attentive and detail-oriented service, this is now my favorite hotel in Paris. Pros - Incredible location - 3 minute walk to the Tuileries and 10-minute walk to the Louvre - Wonderful service - kind, attentive and professional - Clean rooms - really appreciated this Cons - Can’t think do anything! Tips - Try to book the junior suite for more room. - Make sure to eat at Blossoms - food is delicious. - Go for a run - the Tuileries is a great area for a run.

The room was extremely cold when arrived. Pillows are hard and very thick. difficult to sleep. Shower does not have an enclosure while room overall seems a bit tired and need maintenance. Negatively surprised considering the average pricing per night and the brand of the hotel
