The hotel is need or an upgrade. The room was very comfortable clean and spacious . The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to shops, bars and restaurants. The u barn is only a short walk away and only 2 stops to the centre of Vienna

We have been coming to this hotel for about 40 years. It never fails to please. The rooms are comfortable, clean and reasonably spacious. The staff are friendly and professional and very helpful. The food in the restaurant is of excellent quality and i should say that we normally eat in the Weissgerberstuber attached to the hotel. The location is close to a Ubahn station and there are any number of good cafes an restaurants in the immediate vicinity. It is only a 15 minute walk into Stefansplatz or a short metro ride to the centre of the city. Highly recommend.

We had booked a Suite. Suite was quite spacious, spread out over 2 floors. On the downside, the shower was underneath the tilted roof and standing up in the shower was not possible. Quite odd for a 4* hotel. Further, though summer was clearly over only summer bedding was provided and no spare blankets were available in the room. Breakfast was as usual very good, good choice, can get busy though in the weekends.

I am very happy with the stay in this nice hotel with nice emlpoyees. I think it was a little strange that the room door couldn't be locked from the inside. I also experienced that the sink didn't drain well, and that it could be difficult to find the ways through the corridors. Somewhat clearer signs would be a good investment.

You can hear every foot step of the rooms around and people walking outside the hallways. Over priced for what it is. But it is in Vienna afterall.

Friendly Staff, but Hotel gut quite old. Renovation would be necessary. E.g. in the bathroom the paint is coming off the ceiling (a bit). AC looks rather old. You claim to be a "green" hotel, but still use Halogen-Lamps instaed of LEDs

Our official check-in time is from 3:00 PM, a. while we always do our best to accommodate earlier arrivals whenever possible, early check-in is subject to availability. Unfortunately, we are not always able to provide all rooms before the official check-in time, particularly when guests arrive as early as 10:00 AM, as this depends on the occupancy a. departure situation on the day. On this occasion, three of the five rooms were already available, so we were pleased to provide these in advance so that members of the group could leave their luggage, freshen up, a. make themselves more comfortable while waiting for the remaining rooms. The hotel itself is a bit run down but to bring it into the 21st century would require a LOT of work and expense. My hot water was inconsistent (it worked, but it took some patience) and the layout of the place is a total maze (prepare to get lost in the hallways). That said, the hotel staff (especially at the front desk) are top-notch. Kind and welcoming and helpful. I can't say enough about their positive impact.

Stayed for three nights arrived early and reception were great in finding us a room room was comfortable and clean and even with the windows open at night it was quiet breakfast was a very good selection with lovely staff with the bar and restaurant staff and quality really good also
