Great position - close to multiple stations, reception desk was pleasant and very helpful. Clean rooms everyday. The open air onsen was fantastic offering a differentiator.

This ibis was in a great location close to the best shops and station. The room was comfortable and the onsein on site was great to use. As a negative being a Gold Accor member and a member of the loyalty program for over 20 years even though we booked our room 12 months in advance our request for an upper level room was not provided even though we requested this when we booked. They said the hotel was fully booked but we booked a long time ago - so this was disappointing. They also did not recognise our membership and would not allow us access to the member Lounge??

First of most, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced during your recent stay. Regarding your room, although we had arranged an upgrade, we regret that you were not assigned to a higher floor and that this caused you discomfort. Our original plan was to allocate rooms on higher floors; however, due to high occupancy at the end of the year, we needed to adjust the room assignments so that both rooms could be placed on the same floor. We deeply regret the inconvenience this caused. Concerning our hotel’s member lounge, it is available to all members. While our staff did confirm your membership at check-in, they failed to inform you that you are a Gold member and did not explain the associated benefits. We would like to express apology for this oversight. We will reinforce staff training to ensure proper recognition of membership status and clear communication of benefits moving forward. Once again, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment we caused.
