Unfortunately, our stay was deeply disrupted by a severe incident. A fight broke out at reception between a guest and a staff member. I was merely standing nearby as a bystander and had zero involvement. Despite CCTV footage confirming I had no part in it, an inaccurate police report was filed that included my name. As a result, I was taken to the police station and had to appear in court the following day, leaving my wife and two young children alone for two days.
To make matters worse, since my return, the entire lobby and reception team have been looking at me with hostility, treating me as if I were at fault. This has made my family and me feel completely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Additionally, there is heavy morning construction noise nearby that disrupts our sleep.
While the hotel itself, cleaning, and entertainment are high quality, management urgently needs to improve incident accuracy and staff behavior toward guests.

Rixos is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The service is 5 stars, the pools and the beach are very clean, and all the staff are amazing — from the lifeguards and restaurant staff to the tuk-tuk drivers.

We stayed 7 nights at the hotel. Arrived late at night and got checked in quickly. Even got a free upgrade! Staff were amazing with the 2 children. Overall the stay was great. Aqua park wasn’t too busy the times we went, kids enjoyed it more. Same with the beach and pool!! Shuttle service was great although a queuing system is needed as people just shove you out the way to get on. Only damper on the holiday. Otherwise the experience was great!

Just one inconvenience: when we were leaving the hotel in the morning, we called twice for a bellboy, but no one came. During our stay, a group of guests brought their own stereo system to the pool area and played loud, low-quality music at an extremely high volume. At the same time, the hotel’s background music was also playing, creating an unpleasant and chaotic atmosphere.
I reported the issue to a member of the hotel staff and asked her to take action, but unfortunately nothing was done.
The hotel should have clear regulations prohibiting guests from using personal speakers in shared public areas. Otherwise, every guest could bring their own stereo system, resulting in noise, disturbance, and an uncomfortable experience for everyone.
I hope the hotel will implement and enforce a policy to maintain a pleasant environment for all guests

This was our fourth year in a row staying at the hotel, and we keep coming back because we have always enjoyed our experience here. The waterpark is still fantastic, and the pool guards deserve special mention—they are experienced, professional, and honestly the best part of our stay.
Unfortunately, we have noticed that the overall service has declined over the years.
The biggest disappointment was the restaurant reservations. During our entire stay, we only asked for one reservation, but despite following up several times and escalating through Guest Relations, including Mr. Mohamed Sobhy speaking with the F&B Director, we could not get a table.
The food itself is still good, and there is plenty of variety, but the dining experience is not what it used to be. It has become difficult to find a clean table, and we often had to sit and wait for it to be cleaned. It also feels like there are fewer waiters than needed, which has affected the level of service.
The drinks have also gone downhill. The juices are no longer fresh, the coffee is poor, and some baristas do not seem properly trained. At the Blue Planet coffee booth, the blender was out of service for four days without being fixed.
We also noticed that the bathroom amenities and the overall look of the bathrooms are much worse than in previous years.
We are sharing this feedback because we care about the hotel and would like to continue returning every year. There are still many great things about the property, especially the waterpark and pool team, but we hope management takes these comments seriously and brings back the standards that made us fall in love with this place in the first place.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. We received our rooms very late, which was incredibly difficult as we were traveling with children and a pregnant woman. To make matters worse, our luggage arrived two hours after we checked into the room. This meant our first day was completely ruined, and the kids couldn't even go swimming.
The service was so poor that I have already shared this terrible experience with all of my friends. This is definitely the first and last time we will ever step foot in this hotel.
