The receptionist wasn't very welcoming, and they mixed up my card access. The room was large but very basic with modest supplies provided for the stay. It was clean and accessible overall.

The hotel is at ideal location close to Zimeysa train station and few mins away from airport and Geneva Cornavin train station. There are not many restaurant options around hotel but it makes up for that due to 2-min walking distance to Zimeysa train station, and easy/frequent train schedules to Geneva Cornavin which is central Geneva. I would stay again at this hotel.

The receptionist who checked me in did not take his time to explain how things work, including payment for services and incidentals. The hotel still owes me USD 260 because of such communication gaps

However, we are sorry to learn that the explanations provided during check-in did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the amount of USD 260, we would like to clarify that this was a pre-authorization placed on your payment card to cover potential incidentals during your stay. This is not a charge and no funds have been collected by the hotel. Upon departure, the pre-authorization is automatically released. Depending on your bank's policies and processing times, it may take several days or, in some cases, a few weeks before the amount is fully released and disappears from your account. We apologize if this procedure was not clearly explained upon arrival and appreciate your feedback, which helps us improve our communication with guests.
