Firstly, staff damaged the handle of my suitcase while handling our luggage. This is unacceptable, and I was expected the hotel to take responsibility for the damage and provide appropriate compensation or arrange for the suitcase to be repaired/replaced but nothing happened. Secondly, we have been unable to get porter assistance to collect our luggage. We are travelling with three suitcases and three hand-carry bags, and we have been left to manage all of this ourselves. This is particularly concerning because my wife has rheumatoid arthritis and has difficulty carrying heavy luggage. We specifically require assistance with our luggage, and the lack of support from the hotel has made the situation unnecessarily difficult and distressing. The customer service we have received has been extremely disappointing and does not reflect the standard I would expect from an Accor hotel.

Check-in was awful. I was made to wait for an hour after I was promised a 15-minute waiting time. When I did a follow up, the staff left to check if the rooms were ready and another guy took over. This Arab guy is better for sure. The lady staff who left was on her mobile most of the time. Can't even look at the guests in the eye when talking. It took us over an hour to check-in, despite being booked already. As an Accor member, this is the only ibis in the Emirates where I experience slow check-in. They gave me late check out (3pm) which I didn't need at all and left past 12noon the next day. Hotel is nice. The design is modern but there are some things that are not practical. No closet to hang clothes (there's provision for folded clothes). The lock for washroom and bathroom are one, and there's no hole to punch it in. Also, the water bottle system is nice. But it takes time to get refill. I requested for 2 bottles since we have 2 rooms but until we checked out we never got it. I gave the bottles when I requested for a refill but I had to inform the reception on check out not to charge me if the bottles are not in the room as I've already gave it to the cleaners. Ibis hotel is generally good, except for the service of this particular branch,

It was a pleasant stay overall, just a small suggestion. I had to wait in the lobby for around 30–40 minutes for check-in, as there were quite a few people with boarding passes who seemed to have been directed there by their airlines during a layover. Since I had booked in advance and was already waiting, I was hoping the check-in could have been completed a little sooner. Other than that, everything else was fine. No complaints and I appreciate the stay.
