I booked on the telephone for a business event and I understood I would get the special rate for the event. When I arrived to the hote after lat at night (after 2200), it turned out I had to pay twice as much and I was referred to the manager the following morning. In the morning, I left to the event before the manager arrived, but I was told that I would not get the event rate because I booked too late. OK. When I returned to the hotel late at night, my room had not been cleaned. When I asked in reception, I was told that I should have let reception know before 2230 that I wanted room cleaning. I explained that nobody told me while checking in (again, past 2200). I was told that it was my problem anyway because there was clear signs in the room. However, they would leave a note so that a discount would be applied to my bill the following morning. I would have expected the employee at the front desk at least to have taken responsibility and initiative and had done the required cleaning. I went back to the room, and it took me 45 minutes before I found a small sticker in the bathroom mirror with very small print in English (which I could not read without spectacles) which read I should inform reception if I wanted cleaning before 10:30 pm the previous day. Of course, the following morning, when I checked out, no one knew anything about any problema and even less about the discount. I left the hotel paying far more than I initially expected, and I did not even get cleaning service.

The hotel is very well located and offer a great space. The staff was friendly and helped also with the parking instructions. They have free water, coffe, tee and some snacks close to the reception, which was really helpful, as we could refill our water bottle.

The location is good. Everything was clean and worked. We heard very little noise from inside the hotel, and very little from outside when the windows were closed. Our room was compact—which we had expected.
