We booked two rooms, one we paid for upfront, the second we chose to pay on arrival. There was confusion as we’d paid on arrival but our room wasn’t ready so we came back later that day. They claimed we hadn’t paid but showed them our online statement confirming. When we got home we discovered we’d been paid twice. We urgently need a full refund, as you have taken two payments for the same room.

rooms were fine and price was good which im sure is the reason why people chose this hotel, for me as well. however, service was extremely disappointing. front office desk had no explanation of the stays (gym, breakfast, etc) which i always get in marriott group (which i usually go to but mercure was a lot cheaper). Especially made disappointing that front office staff and any staff didnt smile or have a warm greeting, which is extremely important in the industry. I know as I am a hospitality professional myself. overall, nothing wrong with the hotel but the staff needs work.

Rooms are very small, on breakfast ventilation worked poorly, so all clothes smells after. Stuff is friendly and willing to help
