Overall everything was great. From the hotel checkin process to the room service and also the checkout process. Things were smooth and comfortable. We really liked the transport to the train station service after we've checked out. One serious thing we felt uncomfortable with was the behaviour of the restaurant staff. It clearly seemed that their attitude was different depending on the guest's race or ethnicity. I don't want to be specific but we (both my wife and I) got rude behaviour from the restaurant staff. Behaviour like this towards your guests is not acceptable and probably for that specific reason we'll not be going to your hotel again if we visit Interlaken again.

Even though we arrived late in the day, the team showed us to our room and made sure we settled in ok. Breakfast was wonderful. Great food and old world charm combined with modern amenities, makes this a fabulous choice for any one travelling alone or with families. The walk from the station is direct and over flat ground. As a starting off point for our Jungfraujoch adventure, it was perfect.

We had multiple issues with the hotel number 1. It was way more expensive than it should’ve been. We were just at a five star hotel and another place in Italy and the service and the hotel was incredible. This hotel lacked all of the above it was dirty. It was old. It smelled bad. I think some piped in fragrance that just was annoying and kept us awake and sneezing we also had an issue where someone kept walking around our room outside and there was only one of the room across from us so we felt very insecure and not safe and I called down around 1 AM when I was hearing the noise after about 20 minutes was told you didn’t have security, but someone would come up from the front desk and look around. We pushed a stoolin front of the door just because we weren’t quite sure what to do and did not sleep well. The first night really would’ve liked to have left after that but we had paid for two nights again. A very, very disappointing day did not like the hotel at all. Did not like anything that you offered nothing about it was even comfortable or memorable or relaxing sadly.

I did not have such a good experience at this hotel . The location is excellent , but breakfast spread for vegetarian was very less . Also , I being allergic to garlic there was no option for me even though I requested them to make something since I was staying for 4 nights .

We were able to book at the last minute since the hotel we were in double booked the suite we were in and asked us to move to a smaller room. Luckily, we were able to book a room ag the royal St Georges and were very happy that we did! It was wonderful!

Staff were great particularly when I saw how other guests spoke to them. Our experience was not ideal as I had accidentally booked a single room and the only room available was a family room which was not great. Breakfast was however a miserable experience and best avoided.

It was supposed to be a contender to the victoria jungfrau hotel BUT sadly this hotel didnot stack up. Room service lacked options it didnt even have a simple grilled cheese. The room itself was small and pullout bed uncomfortable. passageways poorly ventilated. location was good.

I added breakfast in the morning because I was having breakfast with some friends in Switzerland. I paid twice—once for two people at check-in, and then for one additional person before breakfast. However, the prices were different: CHF 32 and CHF 40 per person. I’m not sure why there was a difference in price. I would also like to know when the deposit will be refunded. However, I was very satisfied with the breakfast.

Regarding the different breakfast prices, we understand the confusion. The difference is due to the applicable VAT rate depending on where the breakfast is booked: breakfast added at Reception and breakfast purchased directly at the restaurant are subject to different VAT rates. Therefore, the prices can differ even though the breakfast service is the same. Regarding the deposit, please rest assured that the pre-authorisation is released from our side at the time of check-out. The reception staff were great and very friendly. Hotel location is great. Room was not very comfortable. The worst part of the experience was the dinner at the hotel restaurants. Poor and slow service, food was not good and extreamly over priced

My stay at the Royal St. Georges was perfect. Luxury, clean, friendly staff, great food, & overall beautiful hotel. Cleanliness & friendly staff is super important to me and my husband. I was immediately impressed when I walked onto the property and through the doors and smelled a wonderful clean scent. Every interaction I had with a staff member was professional and friendly. Then, upon entering our room I noticed there wasn't a single stain on the sheets and they were crisp & you could see the fold lines so you definitely know they are clean. Everything was perfect: the breakfast buffet, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and I especially loved the hand soap and shower gel! The smell of the fragrance was to die for. I could smell how clean I was after my shower! We checked out at 11am, and didn't have a train to leave to our next destination until 1pm & the staff and hotel kept our belongings safe then drove us to the train station free of charge. I am very satisfied with my stay at the Royal St. Georges. Thank you!
