We spent a lot of time choosing our hotel in Vienna and ultimately picked this one because it was presented as a level above our other options. Since having an included breakfast and a proper gym was a priority for us, we had high expectations. Unfortunately, the reality did not match the promise. The Downsides: The Gym: The online photos were highly misleading. It looked like a well-equipped facility, but in reality, it was a very disappointing space with very few machines and minimal weights. It was definitely not up to the standard we expected, and had we known this in advance, we would not have booked here. The Breakfast: The breakfast was one of the most bland and uninspiring we’ve encountered. Most of the items-especially the pastries—felt dry and far from fresh. The Upsides: The Rooms: On a positive note, the rooms themselves were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The housekeeping team deserves credit for this. Overall Impression: While the room itself was nice, the overall experience was disappointing due to the poor breakfast quality and the misleading fitness facilities. If we had known the true state of the amenities beforehand, we would have chosen a different place to stay.

Stayed at the Novotel Wien for two nights. The staff were fantastic and the location was perfect. Unfortunately the air-conditioning was hardly working. Both nights the room temperatures became quite high, which disrupted our sleep on both nights. The was unacceptable and the AC/ lack of it needs to be addressed. Everything else was great but unfortunately the AC was a major negative drawback.

I am seeing on my credit card that you are taking "1.038,22 EUR" When I have reserved for "864.22 EUR" only. Can you explain me the difference, and can you reimburse me? We took zero breakfast at your hotel. Thanks for your explanation

Upon arrival, they charged me again for the accommodation at the reception, even though it had already been paid in advance. After intervention, the money was refunded, but in both cases the bank has charged me the currency conversion fee. Although the mistake was not mine, but the receptionist's, I did not receive an apology, and of course no one even offered to refund me the cost of the conversion, which was the minimum that a hotel of this rank should offer. I do not like that there are no more slippers in the rooms, which I expected, so I did not bring them. The maid took the used towels on the second day, but did not give me new, clean ones.
