The guests were very loud, and the noise started every day as early as 7:00 in the morning, which made it difficult for me to sleep and get enough rest. The hotel should consider putting up clear signs reminding guests to respect others and keep noise to a minimum, especially during the early morning and quiet hours.

The online reservation, check in, location, ease of public transport ( bus stop right in front of the hotel) to the city and airport, cleanliness, layout of the room, and the breakfast, all was perfect for us. I was able to find everything necessary in the room. The room was clean. The location was easy to reach. It was convenient to be close to the shopping mall. The reception was nice and helpful. However, it was difficult to take a shower, as the shower door opened directly into the room and the door was frosted glass. Also, there was no lock on the toilet door.

The ibis budget Genève Aéroport was a very convenient choice for my short work-related trip to Geneva. I particularly appreciated its proximity to the airport, while the several nearby bus stops made it easy to get to the city center and my conference venue. Having the option to include a buffet breakfast at the co-located Swiss Bistro was a welcome convenience and made my mornings much easier before heading to the conference. The restaurant was also a great option for dinner and a nightcap after a long day. I also appreciated being close to the Balexert shopping center, where I could easily pick up a meal or any necessities. The staff were great overall, but a special mention goes to Annabelle, who welcomed me after my early-morning arrival from a transatlantic flight. She was incredibly helpful and kindly arranged for me to access my room early at no additional charge. That thoughtful gesture made a big difference after a long journey. Overall, the hotel was comfortable, convenient, and well-suited to a short business trip. I would even consider staying here for a leisure trip. If I were visiting Geneva to explore the city and surrounding areas, I would mainly need a comfortable and convenient place to rest after a full day of sightseeing, and this hotel would fit that purpose very well. I would happily stay here again.

The ibis Budget at Geneva Airport was the ideal location to step off the train from Zurich and recharge the batteries overnight for my flight. Easy to walk to fro the railway station at the airport or a short trolley bus ride away, the hotel itself is an inexpensive oasis. Friendly staff, comfortable room, quiet and close to shops and restaurants if needed.

I had read some good reviews and was hopeful this would be ok for one night after a long travel day. In hindsight, I would have chosen to push on and ride the bus into the city to stay somewhere else for a little more money. This was a very budget stay. The room was hot, you couldn’t open the window, no AC, not a very comfortable bed, etc. It was ok, and the shower was decent. But it was worse than I was expecting after reading some reviews.
