Located centrally in Amsterdam, 15 minute walk from centraal station. It's very clean, tidy and warm, Reyah at reception is possible the nicest and most knowledgeable person in hotel reception ive ever met

The hotel is located near to the centre close to the tram stop at Mr Visserplein and the metro at Waterlooplein. Room was standard IBIS fare - small pod bathroom with a step and room doors which bang shut. We we on the top (6th) floor with a canal view which was nice - we could watch the ducks and the parakeets - and we liked the fact that we could open the window to get some fresh air. The lifts both worked and appeared quicky. WiFi in the room was fast and the signal was good. There's a really nice bar area which we used several times with a good selection of (quite expensive) beers and they give you free nuts to make you thirsty! Enjoyed the breakfast but I thought it was a bit expensive for what it was and I don't think it was quite as good as last year. Small selection of hot food - eggs, bacon or sausages, hash browns and beans (oddly with bits of carrot in) - seemed to be fresh and regularly replenished. Cheese slices & humus seemed a bit dry/stale around the edges but otherwise the cold stuff was good. Hot drink options were ok but there did seem to be some problems with the machines. Only ever seemed to be one working and there were occasional problems with that. Not a major problem for us because it wasn't that busy, but I think there would be queues if it was. Fruit juices were watery and quite unpleasant. My wife enjoys the pancakes. We had a very pleasant week in Amsterdam. The hotel was good and i'd have gone for a 9 but for a few issues with the breakfast.

Great Hotel

Stayed for a few nights, and had a room overlooking the canal. The room was clean and well presented, all staff I spoke to were nothing short of excellent. The breakfast had something for everyone, and staff were replenishing items quickly. The hotel is a short walk from the town.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. The location was perfect and very central. It was within walking distance of most main attractions. We found staff friendly during our stay, we arrived early and was allocated a room straight away. The room we stayed in was really clean with a lovely view. Didn't have tea/coffee making facilities, but staff explained that we can get hot water from the bar so we went to the nearby shops to buy coffee. Bed was very comfy and shower hot and powerful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
