My daughter and I recently stayed for 2 nights. Staff were very helpful relocating our room after check in, as my daughter had an injury which made access to the bathroom in our standard room difficult. I can only offer thanks and praise for this. The room was comfortable, though we both had problems with our mattresses.

Very basic room for the price paid & I’m surprised that Ibis was unable to provide basic amenities in the room (e.g. fridge and coffee/tea making facilities).

The staff is extremely courteous. The property is clean. The rooms are functional with decent space. The only downside is the non availability of drinking water in rooms. That's a bare minimum provision expected by any hotel property in the world. Rest was fine.

Check In process was not the best - we tried checking in early but the lady who assisted us didn't even bother checking to see whether if possible. Then we dropped off our luggages and was just handed the tags for us to put on ourselves (which I wouldn't care as much if I didn't see her putting them on for others who were checking in after us). We were also told to store the luggages ourselves where again, she did it for the other customers checking in after us, which I thought was kinda rude. Room itself was nice and comfortable and 2 small key chains as gifts were very cute and nice.

The hotel is great for the price point, extremely clean rooms that have exactly what you need for an affordable stay in Amsterdam. Front desk could be more friendly in my opinion, doesn’t reflect the known Dutch hospitality.
