We enjoyed being in the center of downtown. However, even with completing checkin online, we still had to wait almost an hour to receive our room keys. Each of our keys became deactivated within a day and had to be replaced. Very difficult to maneuver around this cramped room, especially in the bath. Could not position the handheld shower head to direct it toward either of us. Very few palatable breakfast options for American palates and no American-style drip coffee.

After checking in, the reception guy didn’t tell us to the right elevator. So we drags our luggage to the wrong lift, and just to found out that it was wrong. We had to come down and change the lift without any apologies from them The lady bar staff told me the breakfast was close so I couldn’t fill the water. She also told me to buy a bottle of water instead. However the receptionist fix all up after that. Embarrassing myself The housekeeping didn’t change my bed on due date. I had to tell receptionist in the afternoon to make the bed. After I came back I thought I lost my passport which made me nervous and run around the city to find it including police station. Eventually just to find out that the housekeeper put the cushion pad over my passport on the floor. I did not know they didn’t check it or they did it intentionally. But it was ruined my whole day. I reported everything when check out and hopefully I will hear back about these issues. Obviously only get a short apology email from them. Never stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel when touring Europe early this month. So happy with the location overlooking the river and tourist attractions. Accessible to transportation and walking distance to shops, restaurants and more. I would recommend this hotel for sure.

Two night stay with teenagers and grandparents (so two rooms) cannot fault bar or breakfast. Room was comfy but our tv didn’t work and no tea making facilities. It was funny playing the game to see if there was a train behind the curtain! Parents very happy with their room but again no tea/coffee making facilities.

Just ending a three week journey with a Eurail Pass across several countries, and catching a flight home the next day. Ibis Amsterdam Central was the ideal location - we literally walked a few hundred steps from the station to the hotel. Our 19:21 train was two hours late - staff readily available to check us in. Room spotless. We did have to ask front desk for towels, but no problem. Arriving that late we did not want to make a search for food and the self-service pantry at reasonable prices was appreciated.

The hotel also offers family rooms from 23 m², which might better suit your preference for more space on a future occasion. I felt i am in a grave. The room from inside is very narrow and one can nit breath. The first room i received i felt asvif i am in the sewage system as tge windiw was blocked with the pipes. When asked the staff to change because i was feeling very bad and stressed the male staff was rude and arguing and not respectful at all. I will never book at this hotel again and will never recommend it to my friends and colleagues at work at all. Also, it is not mentioned in anywhere that prices are doubled during weekends, that is also lack of information and kind of scamming. There was not even water in the room. I would rate this the worest hotel experience i have ever had. Photos on booking and google are totally different from the reality.

It must’ve been a perfect experience if the room and bathroom isn’t too small which made it uncomfortable. Staff are really nice. Breakfast is very good but its thecsame everyday. You might want to consider some variations.

For the amount of money I paid for 2 nts, I was disappointed with the awful toilet smell and the bed was uncomfortable. I also paid for breakfast and it was just mediocre.
