What we particularly liked was the way that the kitchen was organised, in that there was a working area behind a counter set up such a way that meals, and meal preparation could be easily done with the meals placed ready to be taken to the table in the eating area. We have never seen a better-appointed kitchen, with such attention to detail, for example, included in the kitchen items was a microwave dish, a pair of scissors, and a knife which actually cut! These little touches just made life so much easier. Haven't seen this set up in any other Accor establishment, but it really works. Equally as good, if not better even, was the quality of the staff. This was obvious from when we moved in. Jason was friendly, helpful and efficient. He was adept at fielding questions regarding the surrounding geography, attractions, and attending to general enquiries. Marjit was fantastic in the same way as above and was also really understanding of our changed circumstances, when during the fourth day of a projected twelve day stay my wife became seriously ill and had to be admitted by ambulance to Prince Alfred Hospital. Both went out of their way to show their empathy for my position every time I passed the admissions counter. It was really tough for me, particularly as I couldn't visit my wife for 3 days due my chance of getting infected. To give an indication of how they identified with me and my wife, they, and fellow staff members pitched in to buy a bouquet of flowers for her which Beverley was very grateful and humbled to receive. Based on our stay, I would be happy to put my name to any review if requested to do so. Thank you so much Jason and Marjit, your kindness will always be remembered by us.. • 1m •

Fabulous friendly comfortable stay in city heart where us bush or beaches don't feel overwhelmed by the city. Awesome that we could walk and catch such a variety of public transport easily. We walked around Sydney a lot. Celebrated Bastille Day at Circular Quay and finally boarded the open top red bus which was great. The Fish Market is an easy stroll down the road. The apartment is beautifully decorated. It is very quiet in the bedroom with changes to the windows.

We haven’t stayed here for 10 years so it was nice to see the upgrade. Each apartment is a bit different with layout from memory and the one we had this time perhaps wasn’t the layout we remembered. The main bedroom has a ridiculous design of a sliding door from the bedroom into the en-suite. The toilet was poked in and it wasn’t an ideal setup to not have access to the wardrobe etc if one person needed their privacy.

It is not a good idea to make a sales during stay. We are told that 45 minutes to listen to "something" but it took more than 75 minutes, and it was all about a sales.

I replied to the number that had been contacting me about the stay, informing that we would be a few hours later than anticipated. We got there around 7.30, but had not information providing us with a way to acquire our key. The door to the property was not locked so i walked in, though no one was there. Other guests kindly checked the box and received my information, but I did not have a code. Eventually I saw an 'emergency number' (though this was scratched and hard to make out) and called that (though i would think it should be called an after hours number). I was then provided a code to be able to get our vehicle parked. This was all awfuly stressfull.
