Most of the staff were excellent & provided a very high standard, class of service. The room had everything we needed, including the largest, most comfortable bed we've slept in for years. The cleanliness of the room clean wasn't the best, as I found rubbish from the previous occupants, but the sheets and towels were spotless. The Aircon and views were great and the hotel facilities were brilliant, with a modern, classy feeling throughout. If you stay, you must visit the restaurant and bar. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay there again.

I have a complaint about the quality of the wifi connection. I was watching a very exciting football match on my tablet, which was continously stopping and starting. Worst of all during a dramatic penalty shoot out, most of which I missed.

Always a great stay at Accor Group hotels. Staff were friendly (as always the Scouse people are very friendly). Bed and pillows were comfortable. AC controls seemed to be not working (temp & fan did seem to increase according to choice) however since it was Oct, it wasn't much of a big deal A big minus was the housekeeping services. Beds were made however, vacuuming was not done (dry leaves from day before were still visible on the carpet) and sadly the shower amenities (shower gel, lotion) was not replenished

Clean and modern hotel. Check in was disappointing with one one member of staff and a large queue building up, resulting in us missing our dinner reservation. It’s clear a lot of guests were attending the LFC game so no surprise that there was a lot of demand a couple of hours after final whistle. Maybe worth considering this as part of capacity planning/staffing. Room was immaculate, however aircon was appalling. Set to 22.7° and despite following the written instructions, the volume of air flow was so low, no temp change was apparent resulting in a poor nights sleep. Not great to advertise aircon available When the room temp can’t be changed.

Had a lovely stay here, when we initially arrived there was a power cut but this got resolved after a few hours. Clean & warm hotel, helpful staff. Lovely food & great location for what we needed. Beds were lovely & comfortable, only negative to rooms is there is no drawers to put anything. Other than that we would highly recommend

I was pleased by the friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good service and excellent breakfast. We were made to feel welcome, even down to the chef preparing a special breakfast for my wife who has multiple food allergies, well done!

Overall, it was a good stay. Although the hotel was quite far from the city centre, it offered good amenities. There was also a small gym available for guests who had time to work out.
