After many canceles flights due to the conflict, we decided to make our way to Mayalsia to try a different route home. Landed at KLU and made our way to IBIS pretty late at night. The hotels Front Desk Team are really good. Always smiling, Always Solutions Based & Nothing is too much trouble. The Food & Beverage team, polar opposite. The private bar area, slow service, dirty tables throughout our stay. Breakfast Buffet score 3/10. Rooms were comfortable for an Airport Hotel. The Pool area though, makes you forget about the breakfast experieces. Nice Pool, Fresh Towels. Overall, will it be my returning choice? Probably not based on F&B.

The staff have been most helpful we were stranded in Malaysia due to military action in the Middle East and had to rebook our room on a day to day basis. They insured that we didn't have to change rooms each time.

I have previously given a 10 but this visit was disgraceful! I felt totally disrespected throughout! Check-in was fine but that’s all I can really say was fine! The hotel had a large buffet party in the main restaurant area! There was no other food available apparently until after 10.30!! We had been travelling for over 20 hours and just wanted a snack! NO I was told not even room service. I had to order a delivery on Grab! I asked for 2 glasses of white wine for my welcome drink (Diamond All Accor Member) - No we haven’t any white wine! You can have tea of coffee!! I said I’m entitled to 2 white wines, you can have red! I don’t want red I want white! We haven’t any white! Strange - I can see four bottles in the fridge over there! That’s not house wine! So I ended up buying a bottle of the “special white wine”!! Sauvignon Blanc!! Still couldn’t have my 2 welcome drinks!! I asked to see a Manager!! There aren’t any on tonight the receptionist said! You have a major party/event on in the restaurant 200 plus people in attendance and no Manager!! Impossible! I went back to finish my drink and about 15 minutes later the Food and Beverage Manager appeared!! The staff were rude abrupt and totally disrespectful in the bar and the later receptionist! Disgraceful service and such poor customer service!!

It is concerning to hear that you faced difficulty in accessing food options after the buffet event and that room service was not available at that time. In the meantime, we would like to clarify that the large buffet party mentioned was actual the break fast buffet dinner as currently it is the Ramadan month for Muslim which offer a variety of both local and international delicacies. We strive to accommodate our guests' needs, especially after long travels, and I regret that we fell short in this instance. Regarding the welcome drinks, I understand your disappointment in not being able to receive the specific beverage you requested. We aim to provide our guests with a selection that meets their preferences, besides coffee & tea mentioned, there were other options offered to entitled ALL members, and I regret any confusion that occurred. Furthermore, I appreciate your comments about the heartist's conduct. This feedback is invaluable as we continuously work to enhance our service standards.
