Brilliant location, close to airport. It was definitely the best bed I slept in during my 2 weeks in Malaysia. Beautiful rooms.

Walking into this hotel was like walking into a facade. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful, from the architecture to the decor and ambiance reception area. However, what was utterly disappointing was the actual hotel room. The carpets felt like they have not been cleaned in years, the pillows on the bed reeked of body odour as though it was someone’s personal pillows, the rain shower in the bathroom did not work, the towels provided were so worn and old and were the size of hand towels. To top it off, the room service meals that we ordered were so overpriced and appalling. The beef sliders that we ordered had to be returned because the burger was raw! The staff were not even apologetic when we requested a refund for the uncooked meal. I’m glad that we only had to stay here in transit between flights as it definitely is not a place that I would go out of my way to stay at again.

My third stay, and first since the endemic. Still a pleasant stay. Comparing to the earlier ones, I can sense the gradual drop in certain aspects. Few points to note: 1. Hotel's system stated that we got breakfast for a total of 3 persons (for 2 rooms). Upon checking later next morning, I found that it was supposed to be for 4 persons. Fortunately the staff agreed that there might have been mistakes in the hotel's system. 2. Of all the rooms that we got, it was consistent that shower gel was not provided. I perceived as if someone in the hotel thought that the hand soap would serve the same function. 3. The walls were soft and some already broken and needed repair. 4. The atmosphere and smell was no more like when we came prior to the pandemic. 5. My wife called 2 weeks earlier asking if there's a government rate. But the response given was booking by call was not available and so with government rate. We're puzzled if this was true. All these, if not given attention, will make people think many times if they'd want to come again, despite the good hotel design, concept and brand.
