Room is spacious, clean and nice. Dining experience would be excellent given the choices and speed of food, but the presence of flies in the restaurant needs to be looked into. Furthermore, the ice-creams smelled of durian!

Overall room was okay but the shower head was broken and the maintained crew did not come till end of stay

The true strength of this hotel lies in its people. The Loyalty Manager (Shawn), along with the front desk, concierge, and restaurant teams, consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. Their warmth and professionalism shine through, even when faced with issues beyond their control. Thank you for the efforts. Unfortunately, the property itself is showing clear signs of neglect. My 1st room had an air-conditioning unit that was noisy and ineffective. After requesting a change, the 2nd room was cooler, but a chilled-water pipe was leaking, and the bathroom still had a persistent sewage odor. The bathroom door didn’t seal properly either, adding to the sense of wear and tear. With such a committed and customer-focused crew, the hotel has a strong foundation. A targeted investment in essential maintenance - HVAC, plumbing, and basic fixtures - would bring the hardware up to the level of the service. Until then, come for the people and set expectations for an older property that needs a refresh.

At the same time, I regret the room concerns you encountered. The air-conditioning, pipe leak, bathroom odor and door seal issue were unacceptable, and I apologise for the inconvenience caused. All areas have since been rectified, with additional checks carried out to avoid recurrence. Your suggestion on prioritising maintenance is valid and aligns with the improvement works already in progress, , plumbing and bathroom fixtures.
