The reviews were varying and I was a little concerned booking a hotel next to a train station but the price was reasonable. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon entering we were greeted immediately and were able to check into our room early with an upgrade. The receptionist was so friendly and kind. We quickly got settled. The room was small, but we were only there to sleep. The room was clean and basic toiletries and a hair dryer was provided. We felt very safe in this location and it was removed from the noise of the city center. It is a 2 minute walk to the train station which was really helpful for a 6 am train. Would definitely stay there again.

When checking in we were not given much information other than than to take the yellow lift to the appropriate floor. Nothing about the property was explained. Later in the stay, I had sent clothes out to be washed, but it seemed to take a bit too long to process the transaction - so I believe there was a new employee who was helping me. The visit was fine - the room was fine. I just think there could be a little more happiness/joy from the employees.

For me the location was perfect. I had an upper level room overlooking the river. It was large enough for me. I found the bed very comfortable and experienced no sleeping problems. The room was very clean. The staff were very accommodating and most helpful. A late checkout request was granted and was much appreciated by me.

It is a good location but being so close to the train station it can be quite noisy if you are on that side. Breakfast was good and staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are just about big enough.

Room was very clean, only down side to the stay was the was card only to pay. When I booked on booking.com it gives a cash pay on the day option. So had to find someone with a card to borrow as mine doesnt work in Amsterdam
