Nice stay but air conditioning set a bit high. Wasn't able to set the air conditioning temperatures, suspected the temperature controller wasn't connected. Both the room and lobby temperatures set higher than what is comfortable, but otherwise had a very good stay, personnel was friendly and helpful. Not a big fan of the electronic check-in system.

Dear Helena D. C. P., Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your positive comments regarding our staff's friendliness and helpfulness. I apologize for the inconvenience you encountered with the air conditioning and the electronic check-in system. Your feedback is valuable, and we will take it into consideration as we continually strive to enhance our guests' comfort and satisfaction. Best regards, Mirjam Novotel Den Haag World Forum

I did not appreciate the welcome upon my arrival. I wanted to use the automatic check-in, but I was told it was not working, even though it actually was. This was quite frustrating. Additionally, the staff spoke in Dutch behind my back, which is quite impolite when customers are present. It gives a very unprofessional impression. Staff should avoid speaking about guests in a language they may not fully understand while they are nearby. I understand a part of it. And it was not professional. The young blondie guy staff member I interacted with was not very polite, and overall the team seemed to act as if they owned the hotel rather than providing a service. A smile and a proper welcome should be basic standards in hospitality. The only positive interaction I had was with the tall brunette lady at my departure, who gave a warm and friendly goodbye. Basic advice: staff should avoid addressing customers with casual terms like “guys,” which can come across as unprofessional. A more appropriate approach would be: “Welcome, sir/madam, how may I assist you?” Please also go back to the fundamentals of hospitality: a smile, a proper welcome, and a simple “thank you” should be standard and consistent.
