My stay at SO/ Vienna fall below 5-star standards:
- No arrival support: Nobody helped us with our luggage upon arrival; we had to carry everything ourselves.
- Unusable & insecure Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi network was completely unsecured and making it impossible to work. When I called reception for help, the staff member simply said they didn't know and brushed me off.
- Unusable bathtub & lazy fix: The drain of the bathtub in our room was spoiled. When reported, reception told us to wait and never revert. Followed up with another call after long wait and was told that the technician was off work and told us "not to use the bathtub."
- Lacking 5-star service: Basic hospitality and proactive service were non-existent throughout the stay.
For a luxury property charging premium rates, dismissive staff, broken amenities, and unsecured Wi-Fi are unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here. For the view, can just have breakfast at the restaurant.

It's also close to restaurants and a little shop around the corner so was perfect for us. The views from the top floor bar area was fantastic as well! We would definitely stay again!

The all white room with mirrors everywhere felt cold. Also the TV couldn’t connect to the internet m. But the views were great. Bed was comfortable. Rooftop bar was amazing.

I have mixed feelings regarding this hotel. While the facility is pleasant, well-located, and features spacious, well-equipped rooms, there were several issues I would not expect from a five-star establishment. Our room was not cleaned on two consecutive occasions despite repeated requests, the shower design is flawed leading to water spills, and the rooms remain quite dark at night even with all the lights on.
Although the staff members were very kind, they did not offer appropriate compensation after we shared our feedback. Consequently, I am hesitant to recommend this hotel until a more professional experience is provided.

Good location and great view from our room.
Good architectural building design as I'm a architect and like to experience Jean Nouvel's budling.
However the interior detailing particularly the shower is unsatisfactory. Water came straight through the shower door edges to the bathroom floor making a mess. We have to use your bath towels to dry up the bathroom. I think we are not the only guests making the complaint as this hotel has been opened quite some time and this design defect should not be happed for a 5-star hotel and should be rectified at once.
