Had a wonderful weekend stay at the Grand Tarabya. Hotel is fantastic, beautifully decorated, a good mix between historical elegance and modern equipments. Beautiful view in the Bosphorus and plenty of local great food options around.
What stood out for me was their incredibly helpful Concierge Fahri who went above and beyond to help me secure a ticket for a Galatasaray game (which is far from easy). He helped with restaurant recommendations and reservations and made sure of a smooth experience during my entire stay. Thank you Fahri !

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the beautiful location and amazing views. The service was also excellent, and the staff were incredibly attentive.
A special thank you to Serpil, who was always so warm and caring and kept our rooms spotless. You can truly tell that she does her work with great care and attention to detail.
We would also like to mention Mehmet, who always welcomed us with a smile, helped with our luggage, opened the car doors and gave us great recommendations. He truly made us feel welcome, so we genuinely looked forward to seeing him each day.
However, there were a few things we did not expect from a five-star hotel. The prices for extras are very high, and we were even charged for minibar items we had not used. Although a refund was eventually promised, I would recommend checking the minibar carefully.
Regarding the rooms, the bathrooms were poorly lit, making it difficult to do makeup or get ready properly. The carpets also had visible stains, which was disappointing and not what we expected from a five-star hotel.
When it comes to the R.E.A.D. Café, the food was fine, but the evening service was quite slow and not up to our expectations. At this price level, you expect a certain standard of service, which we have experienced more consistently elsewhere.
The wonderful staff made our stay enjoyable. With some improvements, the hotel could easily offer a truly five-star experience.

Beautiful hotel directly at the Bosphorus with great service. I can highly recommend.
There are two areas of improvement. First the shower did not work properly. It was difficult to choose the right water temperature and the rainbow shower was weak. Second the night service is selecting the "do not disturb" button next to the bed and then I did not get my room serviced the next day. This button next to the bed is difficult to find and should not be activated by staff without aknowledgement of guest.
