My wife and I stayed at Craigieburn from a Sunday to a Wednesday. As an Accor member with the benefits this gives it was excellent value for money. The floor boards can be creaky but the best thing we like at this hotel are the large lounge areas with warming gas fires. We tried the two course dinner in the Hickorys restaurant which was very tasty!

Our room stunk so bad. No tissues or spoons for coffee. 2 half used toilet rolls. Everything is old and outdated. Pics online make it look nice and clean. We asked to book a room with bath and were told it was subject to availability, when we arrived the receptionist didn't bother to even check if available, we were told the hotel was full - it was busy but it was not full. Advertises open fire place but the reality is its only special occasions. It was really unsat and sub par for the hype and price.

Been going to Craigie since i was a kid. Its changed but still kept all its character. The golf course is in the best condition i have seen it in over a decade. Please congratulate and thank the greenkeeper they are doing a brilliant job. Found the food in the restaurant a bit disappointing this time. Part selection part quality felt premade with no love. Will be back but less likely the restaurant. Also not having food on sunday is anoying . Open a kitchen or bbq area for when shut please!

Room hadn’t been dusted in a very long time. Even the remote had dust all over it. Ground floor room with windows that opened into the internal courtyard which service staff used all day long - so no privacy without closing the blinds. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, so my feet got wet every time I used the bathroom. I raised this with reception and they said that I had booked that room type and that how the shower is designed - as if I should not have booked this room if I wanted a functioning bathroom?! Housekeeping staff were noisy and chatty in the hallways.barista coffee at breakfast which I paid extra for was nice on the first day but terrible on the second day. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Perfectly located—close to the main strip but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel was so comfortable and enjoyable to stay at. The shared lounge area was particularly relaxing and welcoming, and the rooms, while simple, were well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention to Robert at reception, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His service was always so lovely, kind and attentive, and he consistently went out of his way to assist with all of our requests. I would definitely return and would happily recommend this hotel to others!
