A new hotel with friendly, helpful and efficient staff, well equipped rooms and an excellent breakfast buffet.

Well located, easy walk to the Train Station, Shops and Cathedral. Room was spacious and clean. The Hotel decor is very stylish. Staff friendly and attentive.

Nice big room, comfortable. Good breakfast. Used washer and dryer facilities which was fantastic as we were travelling around for 3 weeks.

Did not meet expectations, too pricey in comparison to other (Ibis) hotels. It does not offer any substantial added value. If you want something little different but qualitative, an Ibis Styles is a way better alternative.

We had a nice stay, the family room and staff were great. Just a few points of improvement: coffee/teamaker in the room would be welcome and the availability of some food at the breakfast was poor. We had to wait a long time to have eggs and bacon.

We booked in haste when we realised there was a heatwave and we needed to stay somewhere with air conditioning. This hotel did not disappoint. We were so glad to find it. Our room was comfortable and cool and the breakfasts were good. The view of the cathedral and of Perrett tower were a real bonus. The only down side was that there were no tea making facilities in the room. Any other accommodation we have stayed in that have lacked a kettle in the room have had 24 hour tea making facilities in reception.

Positive experience in every regard. Only thing we would appreciate is water boiler in the room.

The hotel is very cool, with a strong design focus. All the staff we dealt with were excellent, and the breakfast was good. It’s located in what seems to be an up and coming area. The only (big) issue with the hotel during our stay was the heat. Yes there was a heatwave, but a hotel should be able to deal with 32c. The lobby was swelteringly hot, and our suite was also baking hot. The air conditioning in the building is clearly not up to the job - I’m not sure how this hotel will cope in the summer. That said it’s a lovely hotel with great people - just need to sort out the AC. As it was an uncomfortable nights stay.

As an Accor member, this was my first opportunity to stay at a Handwritten Collection hotel. I was curious to discover this newer brand within the Accor portfolio, and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel offered a unique character, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere felt more personal than a standard hotel experience. I appreciated the quality of the facilities and would certainly consider staying at another Handwritten Collection property in the future.

A gorgeous new hotel, very stylish and staff very welcoming. Breakfast was also delicious! Only complaint was the AC in our suite was not able to cope with the extreme heat which made sleeping difficult.

Hi, we recently stayed one night at the hotel. It was the beginning of this heatwave. We loved the suite - unfortunately, the air conditioning/climate kept turning off and the control said the windows were open even though they were closed. We tried for a long time to get it to work but never did. We had made quite a few trips downstairs discussing this with reception and asked for another room, only for that air conditioning not to work. The staff member came with me to test the room. The controls complained about the door being open. So we had to find another room which finally did work. The downfall of this is we only had 1 night at this hotel, we had paid for a suite but there were no alternative suites left. We also checked in after 10pm so only finally found a room with air con around 11.30pm. The staff were trying to be helpful but it was a crazy situation to have to request to go from room to room to find a working air con at that time of the night. I even asked for a fan but the hotel did not have any. I really wanted to enjoy our one night stay at this hotel as I have Accor status. Unfortunately, I don’t want to be running around trying to sort my room on holidays.

Great hotel! Wish we'd stayed longer. Very new and clean and modern, big TV, great bathroom. Excellent location, very close to the station and a short walk into the town.

April 2026: Imposing new square building very near to the train and bus stations and a short walk to town. The online check-in URL sent in advance didn't work, so I checked in at Reception on arrival. The room we were allocated was on 2nd floor. We asked about a room higher up (largely because there is a lot of development around the site) and were told the hotel was full. The room was big and empty feeling with accessible features. Not knowing the hotel, we presumed all rooms were accessible and started trying to organise our things. The hanging space was too low for clothing and putting anything there meant the little bench below became unusable. Apart from a shallow desk under the TV and two tiny bedside shelves, this bench was the only flat surface in the room other than the bed and floor. Our cases remained packed and on the floor for our stay. The shower room was also very large with a small, shallow shelving area at the end of the shower but nothing useful around the sink. The sink was very low (I'm not very tall and it was too low for me). The towel hooks were both in the shower space. When used, the shower functions more like a wet room, so everything right up to the handbasin and toilet is either wet or sprayed, meaning you walk on a wet or damp floor to access anything in the only storage. Again, our toilet bags remained on the floor in the driest corner. There was a hairdryer provided but not one power outlet that allowed access to a mirror. When we saw that the emergency evacuation alarm was going to flash red all through the night, we realised we had been given a fully accessible room we didn't ask for. In my opinion this room, that didn't work for us, would also not work for someone with mobility issues or a wheelchair user, so it needs rethinking. Next morning we raised our issues with Reception and were finally told that we had, indeed, been given a fully accessible room. Again we were told that was because the hotel was full. I highlighted several times that we had not just turned up but booked in advance through the App and had not indicated any aditional mobility needs. We were offered a room change but were heading to town, so said we would think about what was best and let them know later. On return, we said we would not move for several reasons - the inconvenience, the fact we only had one more night and that it felt wasteful and unnecessary to have had two rooms set up for a two night stay. All Reception staff were pleasant, professional and apologetic and offered complimentary drinks, which we accepted, thanks. The public areas are large and well set out but seem more suitable to working, drinking and dining; a bit more thought to lounging would be welcome, with some low chairs and tables, more ambient lighting and something done about the air ducting, which was very noisy and intrusive if you were dining or sitting for a longer time. As there was nowhere in our room to sit comfortably together (other than the bed) the public area was the only option. Aesthetically, the hotel is very appealing but it seems to lack a bit of thought about how it functions and how users will experience it. We enjoyed our time in Amiens but chose this hotel for quiet and comfort. Everything was clean, our room was quiet and the bed very spacious and comfortable. The bar open late and snack menu were very welcome, as was the cool flavoured water in the foyer. As previously mentioned, every member of staff we encountered was professional, respectful and tried to be helpful.
