The hotel is very cool, with a strong design focus. All the staff we dealt with were excellent, and the breakfast was good. It’s located in what seems to be an up and coming area. The only (big) issue with the hotel during our stay was the heat. Yes there was a heatwave, but a hotel should be able to deal with 32c. The lobby was swelteringly hot, and our suite was also baking hot. The air conditioning in the building is clearly not up to the job - I’m not sure how this hotel will cope in the summer. That said it’s a lovely hotel with great people - just need to sort out the AC. As it was an uncomfortable nights stay.

As an Accor member, this was my first opportunity to stay at a Handwritten Collection hotel. I was curious to discover this newer brand within the Accor portfolio, and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel offered a unique character, comfortable accommodations, and attentive service. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere felt more personal than a standard hotel experience. I appreciated the quality of the facilities and would certainly consider staying at another Handwritten Collection property in the future.

A gorgeous new hotel, very stylish and staff very welcoming. Breakfast was also delicious! Only complaint was the AC in our suite was not able to cope with the extreme heat which made sleeping difficult.

Hi, we recently stayed one night at the hotel. It was the beginning of this heatwave. We loved the suite - unfortunately, the air conditioning/climate kept turning off and the control said the windows were open even though they were closed. We tried for a long time to get it to work but never did. We had made quite a few trips downstairs discussing this with reception and asked for another room, only for that air conditioning not to work. The staff member came with me to test the room. The controls complained about the door being open. So we had to find another room which finally did work. The downfall of this is we only had 1 night at this hotel, we had paid for a suite but there were no alternative suites left. We also checked in after 10pm so only finally found a room with air con around 11.30pm. The staff were trying to be helpful but it was a crazy situation to have to request to go from room to room to find a working air con at that time of the night. I even asked for a fan but the hotel did not have any. I really wanted to enjoy our one night stay at this hotel as I have Accor status. Unfortunately, I don’t want to be running around trying to sort my room on holidays.
